Lacy vs Lynch

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Lacy vs Lynch

Postby Detroitcity » Wed Oct 21, 2015 11:49 am

I have a contending team that has some older guys like Lynch, Forte, Fitz and I'll obviously be fine this year, but my team could use some more youth for the future

The Lacy owner is looking to move him and hinted that he might be willing to do Lynch/2- 2016 2nds for Lacy/Starks

Obviously a month ago this would have been a no brainer, but Lacy's lack of production lately and the fact that Starks seems to have at least carved out a larger role (or possibly overtaken him in the short term) has me worried about Lacy this year and going forward. With that said, I think Lacy's injury is playing a role in his lack of production and if he can get healthy this week, he could be a very solid buy low for the rest of the season and the future. On the other side of the coin, Lynch hasn't exactly been lighting the world on fire and he could retire after this year (and if that happens then I would get nothing for him)

Thoughts on making a move like this?

I think this is as much of a no-brainer today as it was a month ago. Do it.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
