Do you want advice or not? You claim you really want him, but apparently aren't willing to pay for him.

Benjamin isn't just taking a vacation or something: he tore an ACL. That is going to affect his value. He is a player who relies on target volume, so losing a year of building rapport with Cam is concerning as well. Beyond that, he's kind of old for his class year. His value has dropped significantly, from ~top 25 to ~top 55. Oh and there's the whole thing where he won't score any fantasy points this season.

I suspect you are majorly overvaluing your firsts, unless they are all early. Big difference between early first and late first. Early first is often a top 20-30 player, while late 1st is typically going to be in the lower end of the top 100. If you're offering two late firsts for Keenan Allen, that's essentially two nameless top 100 players a year from now for a top 25 player NOW. Huge lowball, and arguing about it isn't going to make the Allen owner accept a terrible offer.

Ok, so 5 firsts, a decent collection of young talent, but still not contending, I'm assuming. I like Allen but your going to be buying high on him after Sunday. If stick with what you have for now and totally restock in the upcoming draft. It's usually easier to acquire someone with picks in the off season when rookie fever hits also. So unless your giving up players and picks, move on from Allen. Just another question, is the Allen owner a contender or rebuild?

if you came to me after allen and didnt wanna offer up any of your good players i'd basically tell you to piss off and only come back if ready to make a real offer. you are forgetting that you went to him or at least im assuming that much so why wouldnt he make you overpay? you must be new to fantasy if you cant understand that much

also you are coming off real dickish with asking for advice then acting like you know better. it really makes you look like a fool on here and nobody will take you seriously.

if you wanna put out an actually competitive deal you gotta offer something like jmatt or arob and one of those late 1sts. or offer up one of the early 1sts and 2 of the late 1sts for him. you would still be left with 2 early 1sts plus get a wr1 thats only 23 yrs old

kelvin + the 2 late 1sts is a decent start point if your serious but like knotts i dont think you are. Post the other team's roster + settings if ya want real help

Kelvin has not proven he's equally capable. He's proven to be highly inefficient with the absurb amount of targets he got in that offense. He put up good fantasy numbers but his drops and efficiency will always be issues. The only thing he has going for him is Carolina drafts guys like Funchess who don't have a great chance of being effective in the NFL. Allen is leagues ahead of Benjamin. Benjamin plus an early first and a late first would be the minimum I'd consider if I'm the Allen owner. It's likely going to cost you Matthews plus picks.

what your trying to do is pretty typical. you want to acquire a player and not give much. the issue is...you have plenty to offer and your going after a young guy. your trade partner can clearly see that aswell. we can tell that you view your offer as strong, and it is for an older wr, but not a young one.

you need to decide what you want to go after him with. is it going to be picks or players? you apparently dont want to use your players....therefore i would anticipate it taking atleast 4 random 1sts...if your certain they will be in the top 5 and can convince him of that...2 may do. thats just the going rate. owners who have allen are likely very high on him. keep that in mind. they arent willing to just give him away for random shots in the dark. i think your best approach may be to offer benjamin and agholor and hope like hell he see's the similarities between agholor and allen. if he doesnt like that (which he probably wont) id up it to benjamin and parker. if he doesnt take that, maybe throw in a late 1st, or do benjamin, agholor, and what projects to be an early pick.

that will leave you giving benjamin, parker, late 1st or benjamin, agholor, early 1st...and quite frankly those are real offers that he can take or leave. maybe he just doesnt want to trade him. thats the more likely scenario.
