I'm not surprised that you were able to acquire Alshon for that. I recently completed a trade for OBJ, and the other owner preferred DMart+Snead over Alshon. Jeffery's value seems to be pretty depressed at the moment. Also, never underestimate how many old school fantasy players value RBs. It's very much enrouraged to build a dynasty team around WRs on sites like this, but many players still LOVE RBs, and value them higher than WRs.

Actually, you hit the nail on the head. He is old school and values RBs over WRs....and after DMart exploded I knew my window was probably optimal at this point.

Good point regarding Martin. As for my OBJ trade, the owner had several offers on the table from me and others. Trades built around Cobb, Alshon, Sammy; all probably better "Values" than what he ended up getting from me. In the end I traded Martin, Moncrief, and Snead for Beckham. One of the other owners was pissed because he thought that Beckham was undersold. Obviously, OBJ was undersold. However, the offer accepted was what the other owner wanted. What's the alternative? Tell the Odell owner that he has to take another deal?

Our two trades show why it always pays to know how the other owners in the league view and value players, positions, etc.
