Melvin for AP trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Melvin for AP trade

Postby monstermike » Thu Oct 15, 2015 1:39 am

For the team in the sig:
I am 4-1 and am looking good for playoffs. I have the opportunity to potentially send Melvin + 2016 2nd + something for AP, is this fair for both sides? If not what should I add? I feel like AP is the missing piece.
I cannot stress that fairness is of the utmost importance here so fire away with ideas! Cheers

I would not do that. You're solid at running back, and in a vacuum Melvin is the more valuable dynasty asset. Giving up picks on top of that to get AP is crazy.

Yeah... no need to do that. I would wait.... Melvin's value should be higher than AP regardless of how he performs this year. If at some point you think you will either need him for the 'ship or he will seal it then you probably trade them straight up.

I agree with the others. With AP's age, I think Gordon straight up is more than fair. I wouldn't recommend adding anything to Gordon, but if you are hellbent on acquring AP, the most I would consider adding is like a 3rd or maybe doing like a 2nd for a 3rd swap
