James Starks Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

James Starks Value

Postby Whatevs6 » Mon Sep 28, 2015 11:51 am

Looking to trade Starks to the Lacy owner for a pick.

Is a 2016 3rd (probably mid) round pick enough to let him go?

No.

To me Starks is a guaranteed slide in to produce similar numbers to Lacy in the event of injury. That 3rd is a giant shot in the dark that will most likely fail to work out. If you have the roster room, I'd hold Starks for at least a 2nd. Gives you a top flight option.

Hold him for better offers. If/when lacy misses time, he'll want him bad then. I had an offer of a 3rd from a bad team that also owns Lacy. I countered with a 2nd even though I thought I could get more and he declined. He'll be wishing he had accepted that as his price went up with lacy getting dinged up tonight.
