Doug Martin price check

Postby nerdswag » Fri Aug 14, 2015 8:29 pm

Was offered Doug Martin for my 2016 2nd round pick. Part of me is a little tempted since my RB spot is a little weak and otherwise this team should be a real contender this year(lost in the champ game last year). I would think that my pick will be in the later half of the round.

Thoughts?

I'd do it. I tried to buy Martin for a 2016 2nd in a couple of leagues and was shot down.

not to hijack the thread, but would an early 2016 first be too much for Martin, Sims and Rainey?

I think I'd keep the first as I have been burned by martin before. But I would easily do the deal involving a late 2016 2nd

As Martin owner I would need a 2015 1st.
I would go this deal. Martin will be lead back and
Great candidate to bounce back imo

Tampa was a dumpster fire the last two years, and not much of it was him. People forget that the year he went down the tubes was the year TB lost two pro-bowl lineman to MRSA for the first half of the season and then the Freeman breakdown was right behind that. Last year he was injured... So somewhat of a free pass in my book. I think he has a great shot to bounce back this year.

What other starting RB's could be had for a 2nd round rookie pick? I think Martin is far better than what you would get in the 2nd round of a rookie draft.
