Received Matt Ryan, DJ Moore, 2024 1st and 3rd 2022 4.01

I’m just really shaky on Tlaw and I love DJM I still have Burrow and lance with 2 1st and 2 2nds and Ryan should be a nice filler. I’m just trying to justify this trade but what’s done is done.. Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of this one in SF. Moore badly needs a QB to make the jump and hopefully find the endzone more. The 1st is a ways out but will obviously gain value but I think you sold too soon and low on Lawrence based on the format. I understand the worry post rookie season but this year always had the potential to be ugly.

No need to feel dirty about this. I don't see any side clearly winning this. Obviously, if TLaw continues on the trajectory of his 1st season, you come way ahead. If TLaw comes anywhere close to his potential, you gave him away for cheap. DJM is solid but with a similarly troublesome team situation. And the 2024 pick is both uncertain and too far out.

Good thing you have Lance and Burrow. I think you should have at least got a 2023 first instead of a 24.

I think tlaw came on a bit after meyer was fired, and I think his poise and mentality are steady enough to have a good offseason that he can build on into next season. The worst is behind it's with tlaw in my humble opinion, and I'm not as high on djm as I once was. I think I still like the tlaw side but if someone is firm on getting out, I don't hate it. I'm concerned that Ryan could retire as early as this offseason though so if you can get rid of him I would attempt it.

I would have held T law for this package. T law was a can’t miss prospect to most and the consensus 1.01 in SF leagues. Bad time to sell. He is a hold. No point to sell low right now

I wouldn’t have done it, but I don’t think it should keep you up at night or anything. You may have lost some value, but your team still looks solid.

The bad news: I think you lost significant value

The good news: just because you lost value now, it doesn't mean this can't turn out good for you. DJM could get a good QB, and who knows what that 2024 1st becomes. Also you still have a starting QB in Ryan who should either help you this year or provide some more value.

I guess I'm in the minority but it sounds like I'm about as high on DJM as you. I like your side. Would've been nice to get a 23 instead of a 24 1st for sure, but not bad IMO
