Back to back champ and looking for the 3rd

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Back to back champ and looking for the 3rd

Postby Seth26 » Mon Jan 17, 2022 9:07 pm

Team one in sig.

I am coming off back to back wins. 2020 was domnate noone even in my tier.

This year it was a battle and they are closing the gap as my RBs are aging.

Do I attempt to offload AK and Cook for picks and a younger RB or should I push for with them for the third trophy. WRs are stacked in my opinion.

Thanks!

You have an aging build at QB and RB but youth behind it also. If you can cash out your aging assets for solid youth or future helping pieces, I think its worth exploring but no need to give them away. If you can't find good deals, I would hold, hope for the best and attempt another title run. Shopping never hurts. Good luck!

I’d shop Cook or Kamara now for a good enough offer. Like Gator says, no need to just give them away. If the offers are light, since there’s a bunch of guys that think AK is 47 yrs old, then wait for either pre draft or once the season starts and hope for a good 2-3 games span from one of them before putting them on the market.

Just FYI, in ou 5-keeper league, I had to choose between 6 great players and decided to move AK for 2022 1.05 and a 2023 1st which could land anywhere, but should be mid. Some here may say I could’ve got more, but trust me, I tried and my league is weird. In season RBs are worth gold but in offseason, rookie fever hits like crazy and everyone wants to hold their picks. Anyway, good luck!
