Admit defeat?

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice for team in sig. those are my core players. injuries have killed me this year. Should I stay the course and ride it into next year or look to full rebuild and move off of basically everyone but DJM.

In a 10 teamer, I would look to rebuild. The problem is a lot of your pieces don't hold the value you want in a trade scenario at this point.

I'd be moving Kelce as soon as possible here. In fact, everyone except DJM goes. Unfortunately, Wilson, ARob, Julio, AB, Carson have little to no value at this point. Even Barkley value has plummeted. You might get a decent return on Cooper if he comes back soon though it looks like he'll miss at least another game.

Depending on returns, I would be looking to retool this team before it is too late. That being said, I would not just give players away and patience and shrewd moves will be needed here. It never hurts to shop your assets and see what is out there.

Probably a good idea to get a price check this off season on guys like Carson, Julio and A-rob. What pick do you think you'll end up with?

I ask, because in this format you're really only a quality RB2 away from being a playoff team, assuming you stay healthy. If you can add an early round RB, or look to move that pick and one of those vet for a quality RB I think you could make some noise next year.

A little more information. I don’t have my 1st this year gave it up for JRob prior to the season, it’s currently 1.01…

I traded RoJo for 2 2nds yesterday and Tua.
I’ve got an offer for Kelce currently.
Give: Kelce
Get: Bateman, Higbee, 2023 1st

He also has Higgins, I’m thinking of countering with him instead of Bateman.
Another owner in 1st has offered 2022 and 223 1sts and Fant.

Interesting offers. I like the idea of getting 2 1sts and Fant. Sounds like they'll probably be late, but in a 10 team league I'm not as worried about that. Any chance you could try and sub out one of those future 1sts for a WR to go along with Fant and a 1st?

I'd look to put the for sale sign out right now, look to add youth and picks. Your core is solid, but injured or underperforming this year. I'd let the whole league know that Kelce, Cooper, Wilso, Barkley, ARob and even DJM are all available. The issue is Wilson has looked horrible, Barkley injured, etc, so all of the players are almost a sell low. You may have to wait until the off season when someone like ARob (hopefully) signs elsewhere and rebounds. Good luck.

The Fant owner wouldn’t add a wr. He countered with Goedert + 2022 1st (currently 1.10) + 2nd not too sold

The other deal I can pull is for Bateman + Gesicki + 2022 1st (currently 1.09)

I like the Bateman, Gesicki and the 1st for Kelce. It's a solid 3 for 1 where you get a lot younger.

Unfortunately a lot of your pieces hold very little value in a 10 team league unless it's unusually deep. If you're deadline hasn't passed I'd be looking to turn Saquon, Kelce, and JRob into 3 firsts if you can...preferably '22s, or the equivalent in high end young players - IR guys are good targets here (Dobbins, Akers, ect - I was able to buy AJB at what I figure was a nice discount this week bc a contender needed help today).

I could also justify moving on from DJM with the shitshow they have going on over there. AB might still have value to a contender for the deep run - full of problems again but he is the WR4 in ppr on a per game basis this year.

Basically, in a 10 team league with this team, I want to blow it sky high while these guys still have stretch value for contenders today. It's unlikely people are in a hurry to acquire someone like Barkley or AB in the offseason unless its at a steep discount. I think you're stuck with Julio and ARob, but at least ARob is a high upside stash for next year.

The pick would be 1.04 currently. The last playoff spot is tight, he could make it. So likely mid.
