No. I dont think bets should be made in any league in which an owner gets an essentially a free asset. Assets are gained through trades, drafts or waivers, not bets.

They can make a bet. They cannot wager players or picks or other assets of value. If they want to bet they should make a side bet for cash.

Side bet for money, yes. But a bet for a player, picks, waiver or wtv affects the league, hell no.

As others have said the answer her should be a hard NO.
A league member in one of my leagues proposed this idea a few years back and the rest of us laughed at him. This is the type of proposal I'd expect from someone who badly mismanaged their team and is now desperate to acquire assets however possible.
