Higgins vs Etienne

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Higgins vs Etienne

Postby Gator Sens » Sat Nov 27, 2021 9:37 pm

Looking more long term here. Straight up deal: Higgins or Etienne?

Start 12 team .5 PPR start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE and 3 flex (non SF)

Main build
Mahomes, Herbert, Watson
Aaron Jones, Conner, Moss and other garbage
Jefferson, Godwin, Allen, Lamb, Jeudy, Aiyuk, Ridley, Higgins, Corey Davis
Engram, Jonnu Smith and Njoku

Not much in the way of picks until 2024. As with most of my trades, there is no good way to get a TE ha ha.

CEH may also be a straight one for one option for Higgins too.

Like both but ETN for me especially in just half point ppr. Admittedly I’m higher on him than most. Prefer ETN comfortably over CEH too.

Etienne fairly easy for me ... but I'm not as high on Higgins as some are. I see Higgins as a borderline WR3/low-end2. I'll trade those guys for a starting NFL RB with receiving talent every time.

Well I just traded Jrob for Higgins if that says anything. Tee is getting written off far too soon
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

I see what you are trying to do. Higgins probably would never start for you, so using a WR to take a shot at better Rb production is a good use of his value. That said, Etienne has stepped onto the field against pro competition yet. You’d be trading for potential, so hopefully you’re secure in your ETN evaluation. If you could get something small with CEH for him, I might go that route due to knowing what you’re getting, but the full swing at ETN is exciting.

I like both players, but I'd take a shot on Etienne here. Just so much easier to replace WR production than it is to find quality RBs.

The upside lies with ETN, and with RB scarcity becoming more common, you have to go that route.....
1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1Flex (RB/WR/TE)/1 Superflex (QB/RB/WR/TE)
'Ships: 2008, 2017, 2019, 2021; 2nd place: 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022

QB: L.Jackson, J. Burrow, G. Minshew, J. Winston
RB: J.Mixon, ETN, Jav.Williams, J.Conner, Z.Moss, JK Dobbins (IR), N.Chubb (IR)
WR: AJB, CD Lamb, DK, C.Sutton
TE: M.Andrews, T.McBride, I. Likely
