Thoughts on Claypool?

Postby blueeyedbanditt » Sat Nov 27, 2021 6:48 am

Thinking of dealing for Claypool - is he someone worth actively targeting at this point for a rebuild? Feel like a change in QB could unlock him. Currently have an offer out there for Laviska and an early 22 2nd for him.
10 Team, PPR, 27 roster: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 DST, 1 K

RB: Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Devon Achane, Kyren Williams, Jaylen Warren
WR: CeeDee Lamb, DJ Moore, DK Metcalf, Drake London, Tee Higgins, Marquise Brown
TE: George Kittle, Pat Freiermuth

Picks:
2024: 1.05, 2.10, 4th, 5th
2025: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th

Claypool is worth a very early 1st in 22' to me vs the WRs in the rookie class.

He's in a similar situation to Courtland Sutton. Crowded offense: Waiting on a QB.

Except I have Claypool higher for the youth. Laviska+a 2nd for Claypool is a steal. PIT will bounce back and be a high flying offense again in time.

Time will tell with Claypool but based on what both assets involved him shown, I would rather have Claypool over Shenault and a 2nd in this class.
