Mixon vs 2x1sts Edit!

I couldn't get the lotto pick owner to budge.
I told the 2x1sts owner I think I will just keep him and he instead offered this

I send Mixon and two late '22 2nds
I get Mac Jones, Chark, '22 1st, '23 1st, '23 2nd

I just couldn't say no to that value. Thanks all for the input, would have preferred that lotto pick next year but I love the '23 picks and the young players!

Team 2 in Sig, in the midst of a rebuild. Superflex league, large roster, 7 player taxi, 5 round draft.

I have zero depth behind Mixon and JaVonte clearly. Currently in 10th place. I have my own 1st and 3x2nds in 2022. As well as my own 1st and 3x2nds in 2023. Would like to acquire more 1sts obviously.

Got an offer from the 2nd place team for his 2022 1st and 2023 1st.

Got another offer from the last place team for his 2022 1st.

I'm leaning the multiple fists route over the lottery 1st but I'm not sure that's enough for me to give Mixon based on the draft class next year.

Thoughts?

If you are going to move Mixon (which seems like a good play in a rebuild), I would rather take the lottery pick here based on next year's class. The early picks will still be valuable and you yield nice options, but that later 1st round picks, will be a gamble like this year. Still, an early 1st seems slightly light if you can get a young asset thrown in. You could also shop Mixon to the whole league and see if a better option is out there.

Ya the owner said the most he will give up is a single 1st because he's "been burned by Mixon before" . I put Mixon on the trade block weeks ago and not a single hit, made an offer to another guy for Sanders and his '23 1st after he put Sanders on the block and he laughed at me. This offer for 2x1sts came in last night and it's the only other time I've had any action on him all season. No one seems to want to even make an offer.

if you feel like you absolutely need to trade a 25 year old running back, then wait for a better offer, after yesterday he should be getting a better haul. im almost completely out on next years draft class

Lots of owners are off Mixon for sure based on his up and down play and value over the years. I still think the early 1st is close if you are looking to move on. I don't really see his value going up regardless of what he does because so many are off him. On the other hand, I could see his value going down easier. Tough call, but the early 1st might be the best bet again IF you want to move him.

I'm a Mixon owner and I'm just mostly ready to move on to a different asset. I think 2 1sts is a nice price but the lottery pick is interesting too. Mixon is just hot and cold a lot.
