I have to cut one since R.Bateman is off IR, I am competing this year but don't want to not be competitive in year to come. Anyway who would you cut for team in sig.

Bateman is the much better long term hold. Sanders has been solid the last two weeks as a contender. Do you have any other cut options?

Deuces! Seriously, why are you holding two defenses? If this is one of those leagues where all the defenses are gone off waivers so you need to keep two, then Mack is prolly who you should drop.

On a bigger subject, saying you care about competing this year and also next year just sits off for me. Obviously, we all want that, but maybe you should decide which is more attainable. In this specific scenario you can probably do both, but a time will come where you need to decide if you are contending or building and you don’t want to be “Buridan's bleep”!

EDIT: stupid filter! That last word was replaced with “bleep” but the word I used was “A S S” as in “donkey”. Buridan’s “eh es es” is a paradox that says… well just Google it lol

There are other guys to cut as mentioned like a defense or QB or Mack. But if you want to choose between Sanders and Bateman the choice is easy you cut Sanders. Doesn’t matter if you are contending now look at the 5 WRs you would definitely start over him in the playoffs(Adams, Metcalf, Lamb, Williams, Higgins), and then up and comers Waddle and Ruggs. Sanders isn’t worth much to you on your own roster. He’s a bye week fill in at flex maybe, but that could just as easily be done by one of your rookies. See if you can sell him for a 2nd. Or Sanders + 3rd for a 2nd. If not, for a 3rd. Or just cut him.

On top of all that you’re about to get MT back off IR as well? Get ready to cut Mack or a defense as well, or get ahead of the curve and trade someone for something of value and open up a roster spot for your guys in advance in these situations.

I cut the def for this week, but will be looking to trade to slim down my roster some. To much talent can be good but can be a hinderance. Thank you all think I was just overthinking this/trying to get cute with this.

Just an observation, your team is pretty solid. I’m assuming you consider the core to be 4 RBs and 3 WRs in:

Cook, Taylor, Gibson, Mixon + Devante, MikeWill, DK

In that order I hope.

That’s probably a win now team missing one thing… an elite TE.

If I were you I’d aggressively, AGGRESSIVELY try to obtain Kelce right now. If you can’t get him, then Waller, Andrews, Knox, Hock, Fant, Schultz in that exact order because Engram isn’t going to get you there. Clearly, the lower you go in that list the less you pay.

Also, and I’m sorry and I hate to say this, but you gotta get away from the fact that Tua is a Dolphin and you’re a Fins fan. Owners that care even a little about rostering players because they play for their real life teams are always at a disadvantage. Think of it this way, if you sell Tua for an actual ‘good’ fantasy QB, then you can ‘win’ multiple ways! If your fantasy QB lights it up, you win and if your real life QB lights it up, you win, but when you make business decisions based on emotional feelings… you lose (usually).
