Ugh, slightly panicking with my squad--thoughts?

Hey fam. I need some serious truth right about now. Is my team actually a lot worse than I think? I'm about to be 0-2 and really starting to wonder if I need to blow this thing up. I play in a 14 team league, standard scoring, with a 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE plus a D and K setup. Here is my Core:

QB: Dak
RB: Saquon, Jacobs, Gus Edwards (maybe?)
WR: Keenan, Sutton, ARob, KJ Hamler, Kirk, Dyami Brown, Josh Palmer, Calloway
TE: Mark Andrews

The Rest: Justin Jackson, Mattison, Blake Jarwin, Jaret Patterson, Jeff Wilson and a few other guys sort of filling up my bench as emergency depth. My league is in our 15th year now, so rosters are deep, and waivers are thin.

I think the biggest thing that is hurting me right now is my lack of RB production between Bark and JJ. It's insane because at the start of last season, I felt like I was set for the next 5 years with two stud RB1s--now? A complete 180 as both of them have more question marks than anything at this point. I like my WR core, and I feel pretty good that between Hamler, Dyami and Palmer, that one of those guys will hit. It's one of those things, where I feel like my team just looks a lot better on paper than they really are. What do y'all think? Is it too early to panic? Should I just stay the course and ride this out? Am I crazy to think that this core, when all healthy, can be a top team? Or do you guys think I need to start selling?

For a 14 team format, I think your team is in good shape. Barkley was always going to take time to get up and going and should be producing in a few weeks more regularly. Jacobs missed this week and was sick in week 1. I don't worry about him or his workload once he is back fully healthy either. You have three solid WR options and Kirk who could be used in a flex based on how he has started. Andrews is a tier below elite but very safe week to week and Prescott is elite but had a tough fantasy week. I don't think you are in trouble at all here. No reason to make any deals or blow it up. Give it time, it's only week 2.

I think your going to be ok. Barkley will get it going, he got more touches on a short week, now he has extended time and he will be ok. Jacobs is the issue, is he only missing one week or will his injuries linger limiting his production. I'd give it another week or two and reassess where your team is. I think if you sold of KA and ARob, your only two "old" players, and re-tool around the rest of your roster.

I think Aiyuk is almost definitely good and will likely overcome whatever is happening right now, but that is a pretty big overpay IMO. Plus, I would hold on tight to 2023 1sts unless you are getting a no doubt, guaranteed stud.

Barkley is half a year+ away and Jacobs is never going to be a top 12 back imho. Dak and Courtland Sutton are your best assets right now. I traded away Barkley last year after drafting him and holding on too long. If you can get a kings ransom, consider it.

Patience ... I think realistically, if you sold 1 starter... you'd might aswell sell them all. That is likely to lead to a complete start over and I just don't think your more than a piece or 2 away.
