Wise to blow up?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Wise to blow up?

Postby fantasydem » Sat May 15, 2021 7:32 am

Team 3 in my signature, I’m wondering what to do with this team. I lack depth and have many players getting old/nearing the end (Julio, Rodgers, Adam’s nearing 30 & potentially without Rodgers?, Evans in a crowded space & nearing 30) plus a few questionable starters that I will almost certainly have to rely on weekly in Hunt, Robinson & Wentz.. Do I start fire selling my team and try to get younger while my guys still hold value or compete for a championship this year? I finished 3rd last year and 1st the year before. No 1st next year, nor any picks this year.

I see no cause for alarm, at least until Rodgers' situation clears up.

I still think your team could could make some noise this year. That being said, I see the tricky spot you are in. You could always make every player available publicly and see what offers come. This could be great way to see if it's worth starting over or if the values are already not there. I would rather try to make another run versus give assets away due to lack of interest. Maybe better offers come in season and a retool can happen organically. I would not force anything here as of.

I believe you can make noise and get younger in the process.. You can trade CMC for a younger RB1 and early 21 picks or trade Adams for a 2nd yr wr and early 21 picks. You're good at QB/TE for now. But like Gator said, you can just wait and see what happens once the season starts rolling...

WR DJ Moore, Lamb, T Higgins, Bateman, M Williams, London, J Dotson, T Burks, DPJ
TE TJ Hockenson, Kmet, Hurst,

12 team 1qb PPR

Julio and one of those 1st you get for DK
