I would much rather gamble on Reagor than a 2nd multiple years out.

If Reagor came out this year he would probably be the overall WR2 of the class. His rookie year was underwhelming but he had injuries, no preseason and a terrible offence. Great deal for you.

Please elaborate as I, even being a reagor fan, do not see this logic adding up. Reagor 2nd WR in this draft????

I would consider Smith the #2 WR in this class behind Chase. He is small (under 170 lbs), didn’t test at his pro day, didn’t break out until his junior season and is a late declare. He had a great age 22 senior season but he should in a great offence playing against 19 and 20 year olds.

Reagor has good size (over 200 lbs), tested very well at the combine, broke out in his age 18 freshman year and was an early declare. He played in a poor TCU offence so his stats were not video game stats.

Reagor was probably the #4 WR in the deep 2020 class behind CeeDee, Jeudy and Jefferson. If Smith declared in 2020, I think he would have been the #5 WR behind Reagor. So in my opinion, Reagor was a better prospect than Smith and would have been the #2 in this class. I am not saying Reagor will have a better career than Smith, but he was a better prospect.

Countless teams that needed WRs passed up on all those guys. The 2nd WR in this draft went 6th overall.

I don't think there is any draft where Reagor would have gone top 6 overall in any draft ever, much less this year.

I feel Smith and Waddle are similar to Ruggs and Hollywood Brown - overdrafted, small bodied WR’s from big schools. I am down on the whole draft class so maybe that is my bias.

I take reagor here, but only because a 2nd two years out is worth very little to me.

A 2023 2nd is a back-end 3rd in my book. I'm not high on Reagor, but he's worth more than that on draft capital alone.
