Re: Javonte or Diontae?
I'm leaning Javonte simply because there are fewer rb's out there. DJ's biggest downfall is what happens at qb in Pitt next year?

Re: Javonte or Diontae?
Javonte very easily on value alone. Diontae won't return more than a late 1st in a trade. And even that might be pushing it.

Re: Javonte or Diontae?
Williams has more hopeful value as an RB, but Johnson is pretty well established and a lot safer. I build around WR's, therefore I would lean Johnson based on the known product. Obviously not a popular opinion though.
Re: Javonte or Diontae?
You can sure do that. But you'd be able to get Javonte + for Diontae based on value. Going with Diontae over Javonte straight up is giving up some valueGator Sens wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 12:02 pm Williams has more hopeful value as an RB, but Johnson is pretty well established and a lot safer. Based on the responses and the poll, looks like you would need to add to Johnson to get to Williams.bills2 wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 12:07 pmYou can sure do that. DJ, and not close. An established target hog vs. a big promise.

Re: Javonte or Diontae?
Votes are 7 -2 in favor of Williams. Am I missing something here? Seems like you are arguing that Johnson is more valuable than Williams but everyone on here outside of me and essentially within the poll is saying the opposite. Is your original post supposed to say Javonte for Johnson+?bills2 wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 12:15 pmrefreshGator Sens wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 12:14 pmBased on the responses and the poll, looks like you would need to add to Johnson to get to Williams.
Re: Javonte or Diontae?
Picks vs players is a strange phenomenon. Absolutely no one is paying 1.03 or 1.04 for Diontae, yet that is the price for Javonte. In fact you'd need to add at least an early 2nd added to Diontae to get the 1.04. However, once the pick is made and its Javonte vs Diontae, you could make a case going for the proven production of the young WR.

Yes, it's called pick inflation; and now is the peak time for it.jwb32 wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 12:28 pm Picks vs players is a strange phenomenon.
