Miami will take a rb if it's a value (for example, Harris or ETN at 36, Williams at 50), but it's definitely not their top need. They need at least 1 pass catcher, a center, a G/T (depending which position they think Hunt fita long term), an EDGE/DE, and an ILB more than RB.
I think Gaskin is a James White type. He'll stick around as a pass catching RB2 (NFL, not fantasy) for some years, but he isn't likely to be a starter, except maybe in 2021 if the top 3 go early.
I doubt they were seriously in on Carson, there was just one report about him that got immediately debunked. Don't trust anything Miami beat writers say. They have no inside info with the current staff and throw a lot of crap against the wall.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...
