Orenthal Shames wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 7:58 am Justin Jefferson is coming along slowly. As of now he's the WR3 behind Bisi Johnson, who has been one of the stars in camp.
Thielen is going to be a target monster this year if Jefferson isn't ready to produce yet.

It'll be interesting to see how he does without Diggs taking away the #1 corner each game.
i haven't heard a thing on Irv Smith jr all camp...he's a guy i thought would have more hype right now. I thought he would take alot of those targets
Irv has gotten a modest amount of hype, certainly more than Jefferson.

People aren't gonna be happy that they took Justin Jefferson so high over Van Jefferson.

Wouldnt say Van Jefferson’s ceiling or floor are anywhere close to Justin Jefferson’s... but he was being slept on early on in the process by the fantasy community.

He’s a terrible analytical prospect, but he does have 2nd round capital and extenuating circumstances to excuse his late breakout age and lack of production

Gore is so old and shot, but if he is looking more spry than Bell, then I want no part of Bell this year. He is either shot from all the touches, or he doesn't care about being great any more.

Honestly might just be the Jets trashing him so that fans don't complain when he's traded for pennies. I say that as someone with almost no Bell shares.

i was also thinking somehow the Jets are trashing him too...only because everything i heard before camp was he was in the best shape of his life. Now he has no burst and Gore look faster than him...i don't get it. Or maybe he just looks that bad...idk

If they wanted to trade him (or if there was a market for him) though wouldn't it make more sense to talk him up? Best shape of his life, yada, yada yada. I mean, who gives a tin bleep what the fans think if you can make a market for him by talking him up (like the Cards did with DJ).

Hell, all you have to do is say Bell shits golden turds out a platinum coated bleep and the Texans would probably give JJ Watt and 2 1sts for him.

I would love to trade for a $13 million back who the team said looked worse than Frank Gore

It would be funny in typical Jets fashion if they cut Bell and signed Fournette

He's been so consistent about this for months, I wouldn't expect JT to take a bellcow role until later in the season, if he does at all as a rookie. Mack is better than may of us JT fanboys wish he were.
