Survivor Week 6

Postby hotrod » Tue Oct 08, 2019 5:18 pm

I've already picked the Cowboys, Pats, Chargers, Eagles and Ravens. Best options this week are;

KC v Hou
GB v Det
Rams v 49ers

I'm leaning the Packers at home but not feeling great about it. Who have you got?

Tough group of games to pick from. Tough to pick KC with Mahomes hobbled, if he is hurt and limping, KC won't win. Can't get against SF after their defensive performance last week. GB not a bad pick, but Detroit has been competive this year.

I think Washington is the best bet this week.

I might go with the saints instead of those games. Def NOT Washington.

The Saints are not that good on the road with Brees, you want to bet Bridgewater as a road dog?

Washington is favored on the ROAD by a sizeable 3.5 points. Vegas is begging people to bet Miami. I'd listen and would bet the home dog to lose.

To the original poster -- i notice that the Seahawks have not been used -- I prefer the Seahawks over the Browns over everything you listed. I--in fact--want to say that Detroit will beat GB and the Rams will beat SF

I went Balt, dont feel great about it. GB was choice number 2, but I saw Detroit has won 5 in a row against them? Is that right? I feel the hail Mary was not more than 2 years ago. Maybe that was the last time they beat the Lions. Rams scare me as they already ruined my other Survivor League against Tampa. The one I am alive in is down to 48 people only, $20, started at over 600 people.

The Saints are legitimately underdogs per Vegas in that game, that's risky.

I'm rolling with the Seahawks.
Almost went the Cardinals, though.

Without New England/Baltimore I think it comes down to the chiefs or Packers. Personally I would roll with the chiefs. That's what I'm doing in the survivor pool I don't have the pats left.

Thanks for all the input. I'm rolling with the Redskins and banking on the Dolphins dumpster fire. This is the only week I would pick the Skins so there is some strategic value there.

You do have to take some risks eventually, and keeping higher quality teams in your pocket for later certainly has it's upside.
