2019 Waiver Moves- Trends

What waiver moves are you seeing? Are owners making interesting cuts, suggesting those players are potential buy low targets in other leagues? Are you seeing depth guys getting picked up?

After Auden Tate got 10 targets against Buffalo, I scooped him up. Since then, Tate got 6 targets and Ross has gone on IR. Tate's trending as a waiver pickup and the next three defenses he faces are 21st or worse against the pass- Arizona, Baltimore and Jacksonville.

I'm seeing Olabisi Johnson getting picked up. Someone becomes the #2 WR if Diggs gets dealt. Maybe Treadwell ascends, or Rudolph becomes the de facto #2 receiver.

On MFL's most dropped list, John Ross and Nelson Agholor are in the top 10, while Antonio Brown is 16th. That's probably league format dependent (probably includes keeper leagues and short rosters), but still noteworthy.

What cuts or adds are you seeing that could prove valuable this year or next?

It's a pretty low-rent move - but if you're not rolling with a kicker from a high-powered offense, Mike Nugent is now kicking for the Patriots...

Not sure if it's a trendy pick but I'm adding Foster Moreau everywhere this week as a stash

- Solid athleticism/metrics for a TE - https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/foster-moreau/
- Was widely viewed as a blocking TE but is proving to be more than that
- Waller has been great but is also a (restricted) Free Agent in 2020

In one of my RB heavy leagues, Brandon Bolden is the most added among free agents. He's had a TD each of the last two weeks and 11 total touches. If the Patriots steamroll the Jets and Burkhead can't play, Bolden could see another 22 offensive snaps like in the last game against them. Not a spicy name, but when you're grabbing guys off waivers and starting them (Dwayne Washington, Jalen Richard), that potential is worth gambling on.
