Who should I keep?

We do a semi dynasty league where we keep 9 players each year. This year we lost an owner & his team was horrible so we are doing an expansion draft to fill the 10th team. We can keep 6 for the expansion draft & pull back 2 if someone is taken from your team. I won the league last year. Here are the 6 I’m thinking of keeping.

Kareem Hunt
DeAndre Hopkins
Julio Jones
Gronkowski

My others I options are:
Mike Evans
Cam Newton
Evan Engram
Chris Hogan
Joe Williams

So basically it is between Julio and Evans for the 6th spot? When I lose one I’m thinking pull back Emgram and either Cam or Hogan. Thinking Hogan because there will be plenty of QB’s for him to choose.

I would keep Evans over Gronkowski.

I would agree with the last post. I like Evans more than Gronk too. When Gronk is picked up, then keep Engram and Cam giving you a top 6 QB and top 5 TE still. I think Engram regresses a little, but he’s still good.

Starting requirements? cause if it is a shallow league I would keep what you have and just win the ship again

We start 9 and non ppr. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, Flex, K and Def/ST. TE is eligible for the flex position.

I also agree you should keep Evans over Gronk. How long does Gronk have in comparison? Also, Gronk is a big name that should cause someone to select him, giving you the option of getting Engram and Cam back.

You only need to start 2 WR so I can see why you want to keep Gronkowski. But I think there is a slight chance he may not take Gronkowski. I think there is a 10% chance he won’t take him and he may even take Engram over Gronkowski. Unless he thinks he can compete he will probably focus on younger players.

Evans over Gronk was the first thing I saw before reading the responses.. Sounds like I'm with the group on this one.

I would take Evans over Gronk and then grab Engram if the pullback scenario comes about

Gronk >>> Evans if only 6 players are kept per team. That's more of a keeper league than a dynasty league at that point, which switches more to redraft mentality / value. If anything I'd consider swapping Evans over Julio.

I'd keep Evans over Gronk as well. I'd bet you can trade Evans for Gronk+ later if you want. Or even get Kelce or Ertz+.

Thank you all great advice. I should ad it is a league of Pats fans so Gronk will be gone if I leave unprotected. My thought is try to repeat as champ and Gronk as a Patriot far and away outscores other TE’s at the position when he plays. Even tho when could retire or be traded at any minute. He takes Evans and I grab Engram as my futures TE. I’ll think more about Evans be Julio.
