Why does everyone assume he is going to get a big payday and somehow not be featured in the offense. The only teams that are going to be willing to pay this guy the big $$$ everyone keeps talking about are teams that will be willing to feature him. What team would bring in one of the highest paid tight ends in the league to have him block? If he doesn't stay in Denver because he goes to a higher bidder, it is safe to assume the higher bidder is expecting him to put up big numbers.

I tend to agree. Outside of Tony Gonzalez it's hard to think of a top TE who switched teams and experienced similar success in a new place.

The Manning factor is going to give a lot of headaches to FF owners (and the Bronco's office).
Either JT leaves to another team
Stays in Denver with PM
Stays in Denver without PM

2 of those 3 options hurt his value. Because you are in the buyers market and if you see him as a sustainable TE1 regardless of team then a drop in his value is good for you.

To answer your question, JT has the skillset to be a good TE I don't think most people would argue that. But he might not be AS good as he is right now with PM in Denver. I would target him if any owners get jittery about the Denver situation in February.
DLF Premium league (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, W/R/T, W/R/T) PPR

There is always the franchise option, leaving Julius's plans moot. If they resign DT, isn't likely they would use it on him, as TE franchise numbers aren't as unfriendly as some other positions.
Regardless, I think JT is a top 10 TE at the least wherever he ends up, with top 3 upside. If u like him and want him, then the TE3 prices is fine to pay for him. If u can get him for less, that's just gravy. If u don't like him then don't bother trying to trade for him, unless u think you can upgrade him to Gronk or Graham.

What are the thoughts on a straight up JT a for Kelce? Too risky?

I own both and value JT much more. Kelce is criminally underutilized and with Fat Andy at the helm it is unlikely to change making him a boom or bust waste of talent.

I find that almost unbelievable. I find it silly that with 15 other owners that nobody would have interest in that format.

I wouldn't hate it, but I wouldn't do it. Andy Reid boggles my mind with his play calling as an avid KC fans.

Yeah, this is so true, butmit seems the value of both is up in the air right. I wonder if JT will go somewhere else and his value will drop, straight up upside and talent? Kelce or JT?
