Plenty of men grow up getting "smacked around by their old man."

I recall a particular incident. I was 11 years in the 6th grade and I got to my dad's workplace where i was suppose to meet him after school 20 minutes late. It was because I was playing PE and it was raining so I was messy from the wet field etc and also damaged my school shoe (we wore hard shoes and uniforms). I got my bleep whopped with a belt right there infront of all his coworkers (my dad was a cop). It stung for years but as I grew older I understood why he did it and lost the bad feelings i had towards him.

There are kids that grow up never needing to be whopped because they are consistently well behaved and there are some kids out there that just need a good bleep whopping every day to set them straight.

I hate when people do this, but here goes lol: As someone who does treasurey work for different non profits and organization, it wouldnt fall on Petersons shoulders if money was being taken out of his organization and used for fraudulent reasons...UNLESS he was the one physically using the cards/cash or was the ultimate signer on the accounts/filing reports. Basically if their was shady book keeping that would fall on the book keepers. To me, it didnt read like AP was the one using the cash or screwing up the donations...though I may have misread it. This seems like something that, on its own, would be no big news story...but combine that with what he is already facing, it has become the potential final nail in the coffin (at least in the court of public opinion).

My cynical side says this is what could have happened:

Some shady people saw an opportunity to make some quick and easy bucks by using a famous person's charity to fortify their own coffers. I'm no Peterson fan, but I'd be surprised if he comprehended what was going on. I guess maybe I wouldn't be totally shocked since his dad was imprisoned for money laundering.

I highly doubt Peterson would take a few grand from his charity when he's making millions a year. This was likely someone else in the organization.

He didn't fail the drug test yet but he will if he smoked pot the day before. Because he's a celebrity and district attorneys are assholes his bail may be revoked, but that won't happen for a week or two because the lawyers are trying to get a new judge.

DA trying to make a name for himself on election year. Hate these people with a passion. He wasn't indited with the 1st grand jury so they did a 2nd one. If it weren't for Ray rice fiasco there would be no case. He clearly wasn't trying to harm th child. Yes he did go overboard but I still loved my dad for beating me with a switch.
