I love it. You can try to talk sense with, or argue with DLFTroll all you want, it doesn't work. The only that does work is to call him out on all his BS evaluations whenever he bumps a thread from a year ago to tell everyone how right he is. The last I saw of him, he bumped a thread in the Advice section much like this. Once we all started quoting and calling him out on his misses; He took his ball and went home and nobody saw him for a month or two.

So go ahead and keep doing stuff like this, it'll keep the troll off the boards and crying in his mom's basement where he belongs.

I better spend a 1st round rookie pick on that stud TE that the Saints drafted this year. Baller!!!

I'm not trying to make anyone take his ball and go home. I'm just trying to get him to stop calling people names and patting himself on the back.

For what it's worth, I was a DLFiend apologist not too long ago: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=72446&p=624573. He has good takes and bad takes, just like the rest of us. But the nonsense drowns it out.

The problem is that he'll never stop doing those things. That's why so many wish he would just take his ball and go home. He has some good points, but more often than not his posts are worthless condescending remarks and telling people how great he is.

I think you're confusing me with someone else -- Julio, maybe? Here's the only thing I said about Wright in this thread:

Not trying to get in the middle of a scuffle, but I think there may have been a misunderstanding. My understanding of DLFiend's comments were, he was originally saying "You can't predict injuries," and then said "You can, on the other hand..."

I think in this second sentence, the Fiend in question was referring to himself, as opposed to you Jules, in saying that while you can't predict injuries (an unforeseeable occurrence which apparently derailed his claim about Martin), you can make claims about the athletic ability/talent of player, which he was doing when he said Wright is not good. I think the "you" got confused. Or I got confused, because I do that.

I appreciate the peacemaking effort.

It's the "despite copying and pasting some stats, likely without every having watched Wright play" and the "let's face it ... I know more than you" comments that I think were directed at me/Julio. Julio posted a bunch of stats about Wright on pages 3-4 of this thread.

The contradicting statements regarding Crowell and talent evaluation was brilliant though.
