Chris Givens
Is Givens worth a stash in a 16 teamer with deep bench? Supposedly he is penciled in across from Tavon until/unless the Rams draft a WR. Thoughts?

In a 16 team league with deep benches, he's worth a stash if you have the space. If they draft a decent wr prospect his value takes a hit though. Can always cut him later if need be.

He's owned in ALL of my 12 team leagues. The smallest roster size in my 12 team leagues is 25. So I guess that means he's still inside the top 300 players.

he may have been passed by stedman bailey and if the rams draft a wr high then I could see him being just bench depth
although he may end up in a different city and that could revive his value

I think he's right on the bubble, but its easy for me to remember just how much he lit up the stat sheet as a rookie. His numbers and long ball efficiency rate was tops in the league. He deserves a roster spot for sure.
Also remember, he did all of his handywork with passes from Bradford, who wasn't on the field for the majority of last year. Just a tidbit, and he may actually prove to be a nice buy low.

I was pretty big on Givens going into last year. I talked myself into trading away Wes Welker straight up for Givens right before week 1 as I was afraid Givens would go off & his value would skyrocket. Doh!
Today he's worth a roster spot but yeah, if the Rams draft a WR early, he may be a roster cut. I don't know if the magic of his rookie year will ever return.

He's a FA in my 16 teamer...or was anyway. I grabbed him to stash away until at least after the NFL draft. He may be a roster cut when I clear out some room for our rookie draft. We shall see.

In a shallow 12 team 21 man roster league that I'm in I have him and Stedman. Givens is getting the axe for a draft pick but I might keep Bailey....
