If you had to choose one source...

Postby Schmev22 » Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:37 pm

For Weekly lineup rankings, dynasty startup draft cheatsheets and standard draft cheatsheets, what would it be? Can be different sources for each topic.

For weekly lineup rankings I actually like the way Yahoo projects its players, wish they had a better Dynasty platform (can you even do year round Dynasty on Yahoo??)

I use CBS now and I feel like it looks like it was designed for Windows 97, functionally it's ok but it could look better.

As for the OP, I use this site's ADP as far as start up drafts. For redraft I feel like i've been playing long enough where I know who to take where without rankings (not to brag  )

I hate, HATE CBS. They are the most expensive site around, & they don't offer anything special. I can't understand why anybody uses them. I do my redraft league on yahoo. No you couldn't do year round football on their site.

As far as the question asked, I use this site for my ranking, player evaluations etc

I'm impartial to the staff at FFToolbox =) for everything redraft, but for dynasty, you're in the right place.

Not necessarily lineup, dynasty, redraft, or anything specific, but I've always been really impressed by what profootballfocus has offered. They used to offer more free content, and I'm too cheap to pay for anything, but if I was going to subscribe to a site I'm pretty sure that'd be the one (with all due respect to DLF, which I hear offers a great product and is certainly reasonably priced). Any Joe Schmo can put out their rankings, so I generally don't really care for pure rankings based on very little substance. I've always been sort of a numbers kind of guy, and profootballfocus tends to dive into the numbers a bit better than other sites and offers something unique that other sites don't offer. I've also always appreciated their snap count data which I found useful.

Google is probably the site I consult most often 8-)

as for cheat sheets, I create my own, usually by consulting many others, following along on forums, and checking out mock drafts to get an idea of trends and such on particular players.

for rookie info, I like Walter (though it's not particularly fantasy), and week to week I'm kinda lazy so will consult whatever MFL has, like the sharks, and also fftoday. and the ff toolbox. Among others.

-oo-

I use DFL for all things dynasty. I tend to flip between fftoolbox and fftoday for lineups and redraft.

Was considering giving 4for4 or maybe another paysource this year but I'm Leary about the value.

In terms of weekly projections for start/sit questions, 4for4 is always my go to. Won two of my three money leagues this year thanks to them. Sadly they don't have dynasty tools, but they do direct to DLF for them, so I still became better at dynasty thanks to them.
