I'd be surprised if you could get an early 3rd.

Yeah at this point with so much up in the air with MJD I think you'll be looking at a 3rd for him.

I would ask for a 2014 2nd in return. Probably a limited market for him though. Target team would have to be a contender with a need for a RB rental. This is probably best case scenario and possibly would need for MJD to get picked up by a new team before you could get him moved. Doubt he gets resigned by Jax...so if you are lucky, he gets signed by a team with intentions of using him like SJax in Atlanta. Good luck selling.

If I couldn't get a top-half 2nd round pick, I'd hold on to him, personally.

I agree. If you can get a mid 2nd - I'd sell, if you can't - I'd hold. If nothing else, he's likely going to provide rb3 depth.

I think it will be pretty difficult to get a 2nd out of MJD right now. Rookie fever has kicked in, and MJD's value continues to go down. Most likely nobody is going to be worried about buying MJD this early in the offseason. You'd probably have to wait until July-AUG when owners are looking to put together a starting lineup for the start of the season.

If I were looking to sell MJD and wanted a 2nd, I'd look to get a 2015 2nd out of him. A 2nd round pick a year out should be easier to get than a 2nd rounder in a draft that's coming up soon.

I agree that if you can't get anything more than a top-half 2nd for him it isn't even worth your time to sell. Sure he's going to be 29 soon, but it's not like he has zero value. He did still have around 1,100 total yards and 5 TDs with 43 catches this past season, which is far from worthless. If I was an owner I'd definitely be looking to get him off my books, but I wouldn't be giving him away.
