Da'Rick Rogers promoted from Colts practice squad

The reason Pep Hamilton likes DHB is because he is a big body who can run block (let's face it, it can't be because of his route running or hands). Rogers may get the opportunity to play and develop real time??

I hope he gets the opportunity because I'm making a bid for him for sure. Love the physical talents, and from what I have read, he's buckling down and making a concerted effort to get to know the playbook and keep his head on straight.

I have DHB on my active roster and stashed Rogers on my taxi. DHB has been given every opportunity and just isn't very good, I guess.

Rogers gets his shot to help at receiver

“He’s done everything that we’ve asked him to do,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. “Now we’re going to give him an opportunity because he’s earned that opportunity to go along with he’s big, he’s fast and he’s got excellent ball skills.”

There’s no guarantee Rogers will be active for Thursday’s game at Tennessee.

“He’s just another guy that we can add to the mix,” Pagano said. “We feel like, we’ll see how things go. It’s not Thursday yet and we haven’t put up who is going to be up, who is going to be down, those type of things but he’s certainly a guy that if he gets out there, he’s got playmaking ability.”

Its mostly because I play in a few devy leagues and had Da'Rick on one of my teams while he was still in college (so I'm higher on him than most).. but Andrew Luck/Trent Richardson/Da'Rick Rogers just looks really, really, really good on paper to me. Too bad Da'Rick went undrafted and then dropped and Richardson hasn't lived up to expectations, yet. There's no denying this offense is being loaded up with some serious talent though, and if things click.......

I was hoping Da'Rick being activated would be under the radar but then threads like this show up and announce it to the fantasy world. I missed him on waivers as a result.

Had to add him immediately after Wayne went down. Better yet, I kept in on my bench from early in the year. The Colts are an outstanding spot for a wr. I really think this guy at least gets a shot to play this year. The cupboard is really bare after Hilton.

Not sure why people are down on him now. I thought it was pretty crazy that he was undrafted yet went in the 2nd of a lot of rookie drafts. Now he's got a great chance and people seem lukewarm. Not sure I get that.

I really do not even care if he plays 5 or 6 snaps. I want to see what he looks like against an NFL defense. Such a tease!

I think we'll see him next week, I'm guessing they didn't think he had enough time with the 1's to put him out there.
