More useless: Dwayne Bowe or Marques Colston?

Are either even a part of their team's plans any more? Will they be moving forward? Are they ever even going to be startable on a weekly basis any more?

Bowe is more useless. At least the Saints have a proliffic offense, HOF QB and Colston has a yrack record of both WR1 production and erratic week to week production, so Im willing to be more patient. Bowe Im much more down on, because of his situation. Such a frustrating player

Bowe has Smith who won't throw the ball long and is throwing short passes and relying on checkdowns. I wouldn't start Bowe anymore. Colston has come back before. The Saints spread the ball around. Brees may start looking for Colston again if Graham is out for awhile, but the situation doesn't look good. Colson is more of a WR3 if that until he starts getting some production.

Not much I can do though as it's not worth trading them with their value so low. Just hold on and hope they turn it around.

With Graham down Brees has to throw it to someone. I own Colston, and sat him this week due to his disappointing performance thus far, but his arrow may be pointing up going forward.

I think it's kind of concerning that even with Talib blanketing Graham, Colston still did nothing.

that's a very good point, and I'm concerned there myself. Thankfully I have other options, but Colston is more a matchup play going forward

I played Randle over Bowe at WR3 for the first time this season and I'm not looking back. Randle may have his share of terrible games so far (and terrible mental mistakes), but at least he has a chance to blow up. Bowe has done nothing for me all season long and I don't see a change coming.

As far as Colston, I agree with previous posters that at least he has a theoretical shot at salvaging his season since New Orleans has the offense capable of making any receiver look good. Bowe on the other hand is just stuck in the wrong (successful) system with the wrong QB for a guy like him.

The assumption was that Noodle armed, risk adverse Alex Smith couldn't possibly be worse for his production than the parade of clowns he's had his whole career, but somehow he IS worse. Smith doesn't have the arm strength to get the ball to him when he's open down field, and is too risk adverse to throw to him when he's covered within 15 yards down field, so, Bowe is completely useless right now.

This is Bowe by far. Colston will come around this year anyway, especially if Graham misses any time. Bowe... I don't know. Something doesn't look right.

Bowe and it's not even close. Colston at the very least has Brees as his QB at the end of the day. I just traded Bowe for Roddy. Sure he's injured and pretty beat up right now, but with no Julio and Matt Ryan at the helm he's at least got some upside due to sheer volume of targets and playing from behind. I gambled on Bowe going to a new team, he didn't, but I at least think I made out ok.
