Rookie draft -VS- everybody together draft

I see some of you guys do separate ROOKIE drafts and then a regular draft each off-season in your dynasty leagues. In my league we keep 6 players each year but they cost us 2 rounds more than the year before, and we give a 10th round price to keep any players from free agency. My question is what price/round value should we apply to players kept from the ROOKIE draft spot.

Example; Jamaal Charles drafted 5th round last year, costs me a 3rd this year to keep.

Say I drafted Geno Smith in 1st round of ROOKIE draft, what would he cost me next year to keep ect.

My guess is that most of those comments for seperate drafts are from true dynasty leagues and not really keeper leagues, so they don't have that issue.

Yeah, I think most of the people talking about separate drafts are talking about year 1 of a dynasty league and not keeper leagues. I've never heard of a keeper league separating the drafts and don't really see much point to it.
