I don't get how being high on Russell Wilson makes you higher than everyone else is on him. I have him in the 7-10 tier...is that high/low? Do you have him top 5? I think "higher" and "lower" are relative terms. Its like when people say that I am low on Julio Jones, yet have him ranked 3rd lol

Do you not get the point of this discussion? I think Wilson will be better than others think he is. One guy compared him to Doug Flutie. I think he will be a very good Dynasty QB

Whoa Ace, calm down...I'm not trying to be a dbag, but there was some discussion of Wilson vs Luck. I was just stating that a lot more people are much higher on Wilson than you really are giving them credit for. DLF has him 10th, in the top 10 QB thread most of the rankers had him inside their top 10 (even me lol) with some having him as high as 5 or 6. I think the guy that compared him to Doug Flutie is the exception, not the rule, on what Wilson is.

Just chiming in on the Russel Wilson Vs whoever... Wilson was the number 2 QB in my league from week 9 on.
I have Wilson in my top 4.

Yeah I think he was about 5th QB in the second half in my league I think he will be around top 5 although there is a lot of competition for that spot with Newton, Kaep, RG3 etc.

Brees and Rodgers were ahead of him due to Wilson's bye. In all of my leagues he was no.2 in PPG during that span, trailing only Cam Newton.

I don't think Griffin is in the discussion, and before people start jumping on me, I've been a RG3 fanboy since 2008. The significant knee injuries and multiple surgeries are starting to pile up on him. I don't see how he can make it back by week 1, and if he does, I fear he'll be rushing it.

Yeah I've put a lot of stock into the second half of his season given that he was a rookie and there was a huge difference between his first half and second half.

Titus Young. I think he will play again in the NFL, many do not. I set the over/under at 1.5 years....

ericanadian wrote:Higher on: Sanchez - I think he gets another run at starting and proves to be serviceable again.
Ponder - I'm higher on him now than coming out of the draft. He has a great situation to develop in.
Chris Johnson - I don't get how people have him outside the top ten.
Edelman - Deep down, I know he's just a flyer, but I always rank him significantly higher than that.
Danario - I see Colston wilth deep speed. I'm sure he'll miss games, but think he'll be worth it.

Lower on: Bradford - Only valuable as trade bait.
Locker - see above
K. Wright - I see a short WR with small hands receiving balls from a QB with terrible accuracy with a coach who I think is a dead man walking.
Myers - Knapp is his gone along with this guy's value.
:roflma:

I'm wondering where everyone puts Antonio Brown? I'm just not sure how to rank him.

Higher
qb Bradford I think he has legit qb1 upside this year
rb Alfred Morris. Top 5 rb w/ ppr upside this year
wr Torrey Smith I see Roddy White ppr ability and a deep threat
te Gresham he just needs more targets and less blocking to explode IMO

Lower
qb Kapernick Question ability to read D. Small sample size. Runner with monster arm and medicore touch & accuracy .. Just ask Seahawks Defense ; )
rb Run DMC track guy playing running back in the NFL. Loved him as a Razorback but he is just to thin waste down
wr Kenny Britt. Not worth a draft pick and a throw in for a trade. Mentally to weak IMO to be a great WR1
te Hernandez gets injured to much and doesn't put up big numbers when healthy consistently to warrant risk of injury

sidenote I think Antonio Brown definate buy at right price with Wallace outta town.
DONKEY PUNCHERS....12 teams start 1qb, 1rb, 2wr, 1flex rb/wr/te, te, k, d/sp, 0.5ppr, all tds 6pts, 0.1pt run/rec yd, .033pt pass yd, .04 return yd all return tds 6pts, 20 player roster, 1 IR Spot, 2pt bonus all tds over 50yds...
QBs Luck, Mayfield
RBs McCaffery, Kerryon, Drake, Breida, Gio
WRs C. Davis, T Boyd, D Hamilton, Kupp, Westbrook, MVS, Callaway
TEs Engram, Graham, Hurst
DEF/SP Bills
K Elliot

MR ROURKE wrote:I'm higher than anyone on Vereen.

I'm apparently lower on J.Charles and L.Miller than anyone.

But, I'm lower than most on every player in the Oracles post (the high's and low's)... except for Bowe :2cents:

Interesting about Vereen. I can only keep 5 of Martin/Sproles/Stewart/Mendy/Reggie Bush/Vereen

At this point, I am planning on cutting Vereen. I could trade Mendy for a late pick, like a 4th rounder. What are your thoughts?

As for guys I am higher on:
QB: Stafford and the old guys (Manning, Brees, Brady). I'll let the young guys produce consistently before I value them higher.
RB:
Mendy-- I think he gets a starting job somewhere.
Vereen-- I think he just needs to get consistent touches, he produces when he does.
Ryan Williams -- Good buy low right now, but might not pay off until 2014
Stewart -- Yes, this is his year to be a solid RB2.
LeShoure and any other RB coming off injury -- Takes at least a year to recover. LeShoure/Mendy/Ryan Williams/Moreno etc. will all be better than their stats in Weeks 1-8 of 2012 may show

WR:
Jennings- He really needs to lower his asking price and make sure he finds a good TEAM, not a good SALARY. If he is the WR1 for a team, I don't think he is top 10, but he is a solid WR2
Andre and other older WR's-- They can continue to produce. Don't sell them for cheap, keep them until they stop producing. Roddy White is another, although I sold Reggie Wayne for cheap and think he might be overrated.
Colston and other unsexy WR's -- they just produce. Grab them late and plug them in as WR3's.

TE:
Gronk/Graham/Hernandez-- I just think they are the cream of the crop and represent a significant advantage. Pay whatever price to get them.
Any other TE is overrated, in that you can wait and grab one later. I see about 8-10 TE's as having similar value. (Rudolph/Pitta as they may improve, or Davis as he might benefit from Colin K., being my only exceptions)

Given you have starters and depth, I would keep someone whose best days are potentially ahead of him instead of 2 guys you're hoping will muster another year of meh value.
