Dak running the ball there in the middle of the field is just dumb.

They are giving you the same yards on passes to the sideline. Take those, don't take the yards up the middle unless you plan on scoring.

SFO adjusted after the first three plays, so the sideline yards weren't there anymore.

That said, stupid execution. If Dak goes down a few yards sooner they get the spike off in time. Fitting end for a really dumb team.

Niners could still win going forward with Jimmy because of what they surround him with and because of that defense when healthy, but they should just play Lance next week.

Jimmy is the worst starter on the team. Surrounded by top 5 receiving weapons in the league, top 5 playcaller in the league, best LT in the league, and at the least very good QB coach and DC/defense, he just went 5 for 11 for 39 yards and an INT in the second half. And he bungled the play to put the game away by mismanaging the pre snap motion and timing. Inexcusable high school mistake.

A good metric to see if someone knows football or not is if they think he is good. Jimmy is the guy about whom Brady incredulously said, "You're sticking with that MFer?" Brady knows football.

Both teams did their best to give the game to the other. Jimmy G no letting his guy get set (why have 2 guys in motion on a QB sneak anyway) was some kind of dumb. I don't understand why the Cowboys didn't take a shot from the 40 with 14 seconds left. If it fall incomplete you get a 2nd shot at it. Instead, Dak showed his lack of composure and had a brain meltdown and they didn't even get one shot.
