I agree with most of the guys halfbaked88 mentioned

I'm keeping an eye on: OBJ, Juju, Kirk, Njoku, OJH, Rodgers/Davante
Also intrigued by: Winston, Cam, Conner/Edmonds, Gordon, Mack

Honorable mention: Michael Thomas - this year was very strange in the way things played out. I wonder if he'll be wearing a new uniform
Lol this is what I get for throwing some sh!t together without doing research. Of course ARob was a UFA once upon a time!

Thanks for the link. I'm kinda thrown by the idea of Melvin Gordon being a FA. On one hand, if the staff remains with the team, is committed to a tandem and don't add anyone, Boone is an interesting stash.

On the flip side, a team with a screaming need is Atlanta at RB. Gordon landing there would be interesting.

As much as I like Pollard, I don't see him ever being a bellcow. At best, he's the 1a in a committee. I'm curious if Dallas brings in a semi component RB behind Zeke, lime they previously did with DMC.

What positions are people watching?

The whole QB carousel this year. At running back guys like Mack, Rojo, Gordon as they shouldn't be crazy expensive to get and could end up in great spots. Devante going to the Raiders feels like the most Raider like thing ever and I could see it happening. Godwin, Gallup, ARob, JuJu and to a lesser extent OBJ.

I'd love to hear some options for TE though.

Sportrac needs to update their site, then. Some of these are interesting NFL gambles, imo, like OJH, Tonyan, Njoku, MAC. Graham/Ebron/Everett/Dissly are uninspiring both NFL and fantasy. Ertz/Gronk/Uzomah are a cluster to their own.

Conklin and Firkser are the black box wild cards, for me.

Edit- not seeing any signs he got a contract extension. Several articles from November this year say he's an upcoming FA. Here's one- https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/.amp/ne ... -situation

The TE position in general is yuck. Relative to how bad it is I wouldn't mind seeing if Engram can take a step forward. Or Njoku, Uzomah, Conklin, Everett. Target share % has to go up for a TE to be a difference maker and there's just so many situations that are capped.

When did that happen? I don't see any news anywhere. Every news blurb I'm reading from the past month is stuff like "Should Miami resign Gesicki" or "What does the Goedert deal mean for Gesicki".

Nothing on Spotrac about a Gesicki contract. Says he's a free agent.

Tyler Huntley gives Baltimore the flexibility to keep their offense the same when Lamar Jackson has been out this year. It's probably what Kyle Shanahan was referring to when asked about splitting in game QB snaps between Jimmy G and Trey Lance, and how changing would mess up his play-calling flow.

Assuming Jimmy G ends up QBing another team next year, what other (older?) QB could serve as a backup/mentor/cheap/handcuff/placeholder role until Lance is ready? Everybody I've considered would pose too much of a threat to start long term- except maybe Tyrod Taylor. Minshew and Heinicke/Fitzpatrick would be interesting, too.

Jimmy G is signed with SF for 2022 for a quite reasonable deal. The dead cap hit of 1.4m isn't bad if they do cut ties or they could even trade him? He might've played a Rodgers card here and kept Lance on the bench another year.

Yeah, I imagine Jimmy G is a strong trade candidate. He's not an elite producer but very effective. He's gone if they're committed to Lance long term, imo. And they're fools if they aren't committed to him at this point.

Garapolo or whatever would make sense in Carolina, Washington and Pittsburgh.

Another QB replacement option would be Trubisky. Stronger competitor, but good way to hedge your bets if your San Fran and you have concerns for how ready Lance will be in 2022.

Yeah my bad, I swore he resigned around the same time as Godert. Hey I have a Hunter Long share hope Gesicki leaves.

Sonic is always hiring.

POTENTIAL OUT: 2022, 3 YR, $45,448,043; $22,700,000 DEAD CAP - That's a big dead cap hit, but given the bottom line is going up next year it might be feasible to keep him. Is he worth it or the headache that comes with it? TBD. Plus NO seems to have more pressing needs than to humor him. TB could have an opening soon.
lol

Yeah, tbh I'm equally intrigued by him staying in NO (i.e. will he provide even close to the same production he did with Brees?)
If he stays in NO then you worry about who's throwing him the ball again. Winston won't be back anytime soon (IF they resign him). Taysom isn't the answer, but he's part of the equation. Being that there's "no top 10 pick worthy QB" this year could actually help out NO drafting one of the better QBs this year like a Corral. Again NO has more pressing needs than taking a gamble on a QB, but it might be their best shot to fire.
In regards to MT, there's a possibility he's just not that good when he comes back on top of the QB questions. He'll be 29 years old coming off a major injury I have heard some doctors in the FF community say he may not ever fully recover his form from completely.

Hoping to have free agent signings here so I don't have to search everywhere else for news.

Notable landing spots so far for fantasy:
Kirk to JAX
Engram to JAX
ZJones to JAX
Chark to DET
Edmonds to MIA
Uzomah to NYJ
