Parsons amazes me almost every play. Some guys just have so much talent it's scary. He's playing like prime Von Miller as a rookie.

He's arguably the 1.01. I mean, if a QB becomes a franchise QB, then obviously that supercedes, but probably the most impactful non QB over Chase, Pitts, or anyone else.

Just saw this. This deserves a suspension. Rapsheet says he won't be suspended. If this were a Raider, I'd say the same thing. If this isn't suspension worthy, I just don't understand what is. Sucker punching a guy after the game in post game handshakes is about as low as it gets. Apparently the NFL doesn't seem to have an issue with it, which tells you a lot about what we already know about them. I don't know any other professional league that wouldn't suspend a guy for this. If they do suspend him, I'll take it back, but this is part of why I am losing interest in the NFL, personally.

Carr balled out today. Should have had a few more TD passes, too. A poor route by the 3rd string TE cost them one, and Jacobs dropping a gimme for a potential 75 yarder for another. I really thought my Raiders were going to get beat badly today. Pleasantly surprised. A very inconsistent football team, but Carr really stepped up today.

Freak - Thoughts on Carr? He's easy to hate on... but I've held in a league that is about to go SF and think he's at least a top-half QB. I can't think of another QB in the league who has played as well as he has when his top targets are a 5th round WR and a TE who was out of football for 4 years.

He's a starting NFL QB, and that won't change any time soon. At his best he's an upper echelon QB, at his worst he's average. The thing holding him back from that top tier is the consistency that those others have. Carr managed and moved around the pocket really well yesterday. At times he doesn't use his athleticism as well as he should.

He's definitely a top half QB. Not debate on that IMO. Losing Ruggs hurt that offense big time. Now that D Jax has got his feet wet, you can see what having a downfield threat does for this offense. The OL is a mess this year, and they can't run the ball. Carr has carried this team, TBH. He's been bad the last few weeks, but he carried them early on when they were winning games. Truth is, they have an average roster, and he's always had issues with that. When he had Coop and Crabtree, he was in MVP talks. Long term, losing Ruggs is a big blow. He was coming on at 22 years old and would have been a premier deep threat on a rookie deal for years. Really don't know what happens next year. If they fail to make the playoffs, the entire FO will be dismantled, and Carr might be moved, because he has 1 year left on his deal, before becoming a FA. They either need to extend him, or move him for a few firsts from a good team, like the Stafford deal. Either way, he's going to be a starter for years.

I hate when the refs make a game unwatchable. Particularly when it turned out to be the only remotely good watch on the day.

I wish the NFL knew they're producing an entertainment product.

Speaking purely from a fantasy perspective, Carr's future long term uncertainty makes him risky.

His leash is about as long as Cousins and only slightly more than Matt Ryan/Carson Wentz i.e ... QBs who have names where, in general, fans would be surprised if moved, but upon closer inspection you could see why the organizations had to let them go. Let's not forget this is coming off the 3 game losing streak. Wouldn't exactly paint a rosey picture off this game alone.

From a real life perspective, Carr seems like an above average passer. He's done well with what he's had to work with. Hopefully they can end the year on a high note or else things could get ugly.

I didn't see that Trysten Hill video either. LV player obviously came over to rub it in, but you don't hit somebody after the game when everyone is giving attaboys. If the NFL fines you now for pointing in somebody's face while scoring a TD for taunting then physically punching someone outside of a game should be a 1 game suspension at least.
