My 1.01 - AJ Brown

Why: Combination of age, proven pedigree, proven production, career arc, metrics, tape & upside still available to reach.

Jonathan Taylor. RB are still league winners. Taylor was on par with Barkley as a prospect athletically but wasn't as hyped for whatever reason... (CEH cough cough). He was even better statistically. averaged over 2000 yards per season at WIS. 1st player to ever have 6000 yards in any 3 year span. I posted the below during his combine and the only thing that really differed from there was draft capital

Barkley had some better measurables but JT had better college production

Speaking of draft, his landing spot was amazing and not many people seemed to care. One of the best OL in football that even made Marlon Mack relevant. My RB2 now is Swift and I think situation is the main difference between the 2 currently. That and JTs top end speed.

He's an RB1 on less than 20 touches per game. Not saying he can't get hurt (I was super worried when he took that helmet to the knee), but I said that Hines signing his deal was good for JT long term. I thought if JT was a RB1 last year as a rook with Hines there, why not again? The only criticism I heard for this guy was that he wouldn't get the workload that Henry, CMC or Barkley gets. Well, how's that working out?

He's 22, a year younger than Najee and multiple years on the RB that have been studs like Kamara, Chubb, etc. I don't know of a RB that's coming in next years class that will take him down and I don't think I could trade him for anyone straight up as I simply love watching and rooting for this guy.


In SF, I'd probably still take Mahomes, but can't argue that Allen is a more steady option right now. Glad to have both on my team(s)

JT. I generally prefer to build around WR, but if you are looking for purely highest price and league winning upside, it's gotta be the best RB in football.

That's the sort of floor that makes the GREAT players the best to own. There's no QB I want in dynasty more than Mahomes.
