And the issue there is the surrounding pieces are there..... for the most part. Sutton, fant, and jeudy is a great lineup when they're healthy. And a backfield of javonte and mg3 is nothing to scoff at. OL is an issue but it's no worse than say Pittmild wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 2:53 pmRussell Wilson would look pretty good in the Denver blue and orange.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 9:13 am Yeah, I don't personally see it with Fields, and never did. We shall see. I think Mac fell to the perfect landing spot to maximize his strengths. Darnold and Teddy aren't the answer, but obviously both teams weren't enamoured with the QB's that fell in the draft, so they passed. We shall see if they can upgrade in the next year or two. The NFL is shifting and trading is happening more, and teams are being way more aggressive that way. Should be an interesting off season, with Rodgers, Watson, and a few other QB's potentially on the move.
It may end up costing him his job, but I do think Fangio legitimately thinks it's easier to find a QB than it is to find a superstar CB. At least, that was their company line when they drafted Surtain. Going into the year, I think their thought was that they could win on the back of this defense - on paper, it's monstrous. Their continued collapse is really shining a light on the sorry state of the DEN O - they can't hang in shootouts with anyone, much less a possession game against Case Keenum and D'ernest Johnson.

All my QB's are hurt or on a bye, so I traded for Tannehill thinking this could be a shootout. Didn't think Tannehill would have to compete with Henry for passing TD's though...

Re: Week 7 Discussion
Wth? AJ Brown literally took at least 3 steps with full possession and only had the ball come out from his elbow contacting the ground? He was down before the contact? NFL catch rules are so arbitrary

That’s my thought too. How can it not be a catch if he took that many steps with possession.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 10:27 am Wth? Lol no wonder there are so many drops. Sam Darnold throws one of the worst balls in the NFL. No touch, poor placement
