Week 7 Discussion

Yeah I’ll do it. Battle of former Vikings QBs.

D’Ernest Johnson wins the prize for best WW bye/injury week filler…and a prize for best RB named D. Johnson.

He looks REALLY really good.

Perhaps this Browns line just makes stars out of anybody, but D-Johnson has shown some super-nice footwork tonight. He looks shifty as hell.

Both him and Felton look good behind that line.

Even John Kelly looks good behind that line.

Perhaps it's not actually about owning Kareem Hunt, or even Nick Chubb... (just kidding, definitely own these guys)

Just get whoever is running for Stefanski and his scheme, behind that beast of a line.

I grabbed D’Ernest as a WTF play and started him in a 16 team superflex

That is a great 16 team play. Pretty sure he’s starting in most smaller leagues this week with all the byes

2/3 of mine, I grabbed him last week when he was the #2 to Hunt. 10 team and 14 team (the 10 team is built around Chubb and Saquon)

Watching him this first half, I remember why I was excited to get him off Waivers last year after his big game. He's very skilled, just buried behind two incredible talents in Hunt and Chubb.

Watching Teddy Two Gloves is tough. I know he adds stability but there is zero upside. I'll also give him a pass for being banged up tonight but if it doesn't pick up I'd be putting Lock in to see if they can get back in it..

Broncos with zero uptempo offense down by two scores with 9 minutes to go and a defense that can’t stop the run. Fangio’s awareness is lacking.

I'm always amazed when NFL teams bring in these extremely mediocre journeyman type QB's. Why not go with a younger guy who very likely has a higher ceiling but also a much lower floor. When you're a fringe team like Denver, why not go for broke. Either you find that diamond in the rough, or more likely you end up with a high draft pick and hopefully get a QB in the draft. Teddy is a safe player, but he's not a winner. He'll never take a team anywhere, so why even bother? They just end up being good enough to not get a QB but not good enough to actually accomplish anything

because people want to keep their jobs. at least if they can squeeze together 7-8 wins they might be able to make a case. If they throw in some young guy with a low floor, and go winless. Well a lot harder to justify yourself then

Fangio is to blame for this loss. What a coaching disaster. That last drive took 6 minutes and they effectively killed the clock they so desperately needed. Zero uptempo. That dude is old school and deserves to lose. #Dinosaur #Coaching101

The defense couldn't stop a thing either. I thought they were supposed to be good against the run. Glad I played against D Johnson. Smfh
