Considering lewan was immobilized on a backboard and carted off I think it's safe to say he's going to miss significant time.
That was my thought too. But then all I heard was, being evaluated for concussion and that he was walking around fine moments after being carted off. Then he tweeted that he's alright.

Obviously this doesn't mean he's ready to play lol but I thought these were all pretty good signs. Normally guys aren't immobilized just for suspected concussions right? Something else has to be at hand here
I would be shocked if he was walking around after being immobilized. Generally immobilization happens when there is comcer of neck or spine damage. I haven't seen reports that he was walking but will take a look.

This says he’s headed for the concussion protocol. Heard somewhere else he was up and walking and might play this week.

Either way, Henry’s a beast. I just wonder how long he can go without getting hurt. He’s been healthy the last 2-3 years and he’s on track for like 400 carries this year. That isn’t sustainable long-term before he eventually breaks down, especially with people always going low on him so as not to make the stiff arm highlight reel.

Lewan missed the bulk of last year when he tore his ACL and Henry was fine. He also has a lot more name value than his actual play would dictate. He has been regressing for a few seasons now and there was a pretty large dropoff in his PFF grade after he got busted for PEDs. I don't think Lewan makes that much of a difference.
Yup that's more than fair. I wasn't trying to say Lewan would make or break Henry, just kind of got on a tangent. I like Henry's odds regardless of his line lol

If you are hellbent on going for it, then a QB sneak isn't a good call.
hindsight 20/20. Personally don't have a problem with going for it right there. your knocking on the door of the end zone and only need a yard. I also trust Allen to get that yard vs Moss/Singletary.

If they had gotten it and won, we'd all be praising McDermotts massive steel balls.

if they kick the field goal and don't get the ball first in OT and let Henry run all over them some more, again we're criticizing them

You know the Week 7 TNF game is a freaking stinker when it's game time and nobody wants to post the Week 7 thread... ugh lol

Bridgewater-Keenum baby! The only worse game I remember sort of recently was a pre-decent QBs Bengals-Browns TNF matchup.

It's like watching something even worse than Cam-Patriots era football... on both sides!

Edit: Welp, they made that first drive look easy! Maybe it won't be a 3-2 game after all :P

Just watched the browns get their fg attempt blocked and it rolled out of bounds at the 3ish yard line and it got me thinking why they don't consider it a punt? Does it have to do with the drop kick?
