A QB throws a screen while standing on his own 24. His WR is at the 20 when it's thrown, but the ball is traveling forward to the 25 (albeit sideways). If the WR misses the ball as it meets him on the 25, is it a fumble/backwards pass or is it moving forward?

and does that change if the QB has moved to the 26 yards line while the pass is flying?

Nope but it may confuse a lot of people

Nope but it may confuse a lot of people

yeah, but then they'll reply that it's a forward pass because the QB is not moving and has thrown it in front of him, judging by the posts in the last page!

Both of these MNF things looked true: 1) Lamar sure looks improved as a passer, similar to Allen's recent jump, and 2) that Colts pass defense and pass rush played like trash.
