It canceled the crappy roughing call on the hit on Mahomes, which was just as huge if not moreso in the script of the game. That was just as bad. I understand wanting to protect QBs, but when a DL is engaged with a OL and then has to extend to try to tackle the QB sometimes they are going to get pushed to the ground in that action. What are they supposed to do then? Not touch the QB? That’s just stupid when you consider that this is NFL level play.

At least an argument can be made that Allen was driven to the ground during the tackle, which is intentionally trying to inflict injury. IMO neither penalty should have been called - both were good football plays. Maybe they just need to install a safe zone for QBs or play 2 handed touch for them or something similar. It has gotten out of hand.

This is looking like it was a good season to have early picks. In 1 QB leagues you could've gotten Harris, Chase and Pitts with the first 3 picks and be set for years. And if you lucked into Toney with a 2nd round pick.... whoa.

Too much is being made of guys with basically zero touch competition having big weeks.

I don’t know why Shanahan hates Aiyuk, but that’s how he got all his stats last year. Evan Engram had a big rookie season with extreme target volume because the rest of the receiving group was injured. Aiyuk’s value is dropping weekly, and Engram’s has been in the toilet for a couple seasons. Something to consider before reacting too strongly to recent games from Toney and Pitts.

I have made plenty of mistakes in trades over the years, including foolishly trading away Mike Williams in a league a couple years ago, but one thing I got right big time is trading away all my shares of Engram over the past couple years and I had him in most my leagues. Yesterday was literally one of the best case scenarios Engram could've had and he still didn't do much. I know George Kittle is a better player than Engram but I am starting to get those same vibes out of Kittle.

I may get the numbers a little wrong here, but a stat I heard this morning:

Arguably the greatest offense the NFL has ever seen - The Greatest Show on Turf - averaged 7 yards per play.

The KC defense gives up 7.1 yards per play. Essentially, transforming every offense they face into the greatest offense ever.

Well...looks like I won't have a healthy, viable starting RB in one of my leagues for at least a week...
I was admittedly shallow at RB entering the season, but Barkley, CEH, White and Etienne all down.

Team B, I need Latavius Murray to outscore Deforest Buckner by 4 pts (in this league, he is likely to score 10-12 pts even without sack production)

I'm a fan of Lamar. He's incredibly entertaining... but man I wish he could hit Brown on one of the handful of times he's been wide open for TDs.
