Buy/Sell options 2021 in season

Postby Pullo Vision » Wed Sep 29, 2021 10:57 pm

Buy low, buy high, sell low, sell high, whatever. Who're you considering as a buy/sell option?

Im thinking ARob and Lindsay. I believe in both talents and think their production is limited due to current situation.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with Robert Woods. Career rebirth after going to LA, but suddenly he's bench worthy since Stafford replaced Goff.

Zach Moss has gone from week 1 inactive to fighting Devin Singletary for touches/production. Seems one/both are either a buy or sell target. I can make arguments either way, lol.
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K
1 DT, 2 DE, 2 LB, 1 CB, 1 S, 1 flex

League #2- 12 team PPR, 1Q, 1R, 2W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1 W/R/T, 1 Def

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

I’m just waiting for Pitts to be buyable beyond his hype. He hasn’t been good, even with lots of targets. I think eventually OBJ plus Melvin Gordon is enough (I hope anyway)
12 team. PPR. QB pass td = 6
Starters: QB(1) FLEX (RB/WR/TE)(2) RB(2) WR(3) TE(1)

QB: AR, DJones
RB: Gibby, Charb, KMiller, Akers
WR: Chase, Lamb, G Wilson, Tank Dell, Burks, Mimsy, Tutu, W Robinson, Tucker, Wicks, RBell
TE: DNjoku, Hunter Henry

Draft Picks: 2024: 1.2, 1.5, 1.11. 2025: 1st Round (2) 2nd Round (1), 2026: 1st Round (1) 2nd Round (2)

Heh. Keep dreaming.

Wait to buy on Chase.

Buy Waddle in the next 2-3 weeks

Buy rookie qbs

Im still selling Corey Davis for a 1st if you can get it.

Buying Auyick if there is an opportunity. I like the gamble there if someone is willing to discount

Buying OBJ for an early 2nd if possible

Elijah Moore might now be a buy

Fant and Jeudy

Now might be a good time to throw out an offer for Batemon if you believed in the 1st place.

CEH... Buy if you need a rb, sell if you can get his ADP price. Hold if you cant sell for ADP. But sell eventually.

Buy Renfrow for cheap

Sell Kupp for a ton before he tears his ACL again.

Miles Sander might be a sell low(this is disappointing)

Sell Zeke

Buy AJB(I think)

Buy Kittle at a discount.
Buy Schultz in TEP

Sell Fields. Never believed. The narrative is still as strong as ever that he is amazing. If I had him and I could get my money back out of him i would.

Im sure this list is endless.
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr

Lol sounds like you are already prepping your "hey this guy sucks, lemme take him off your hands for you, as a favor" trade strategy. LOVE when people approach me with offers starting like that. Good luck with the attempts, but I wouldn't even respond to an offer of OBJ and Gordon.

Yea I'm guessing if thus keeps up for another couple weeks his value comes back to the realms of reality and not TE1 overall before he takes a snap . But obj and Gordon is offensive still

Agreed, his value will probably drop to around/right below Hock for many; I just don't think most owners will sell for that.

I mean I say eventually bc it’d be with the assumption that OBJ starts balling, and Gordon keeps it up (he’s RB13 in our league), and Pitts continues his non-top12 Te, and then I’d offer the trade since I’m in a rebuild.

I explain it more above, but IMO eventually that trade offer isn’t offensive, rather it’s fair.

If his value stays at hock I wouldn’t offer it, but I think he slips well below him at some point this year.

Even if Pitts does very little his value will, as a rookie in a typically slow developing position, be insulated to where he can't fall far below hock

Are you saying Ryan McDowell is a charlatan? How dare you!

In all seriousness, sometimes ranking aggressively to be 1 step ahead of the curve works out, other times it makes you look bad. Like Juju being borderline WR1 after his big year, for instance. I'm sure Pitts will find his footing moreso at some point, but down the road, the Atlanta QB situation is going to be murky. Ryan doesn't have much time left. He's about as mobile as Phillip Rivers and never had the strongest arm. Once that starts to go, it could get ugly.

Don't know if this WR1 reference is fantasy or NFL, value or production. But curious how much of Juju's performance is driven by situation (Big Ben at QB, oline issues, questions at OC) and how much his own limitations.

I just think he was able to find success when he was still relatively flying under the radar with a monster on the other side of the field. As soon as he had to carry the load of a defense keying in on him, he became somewhat unproductive.

Its not to say he's a bad player, he just needs a monster like AB on the other side of the field. I think its clear at this point that he won't find success as the #1 option ( at least to the extent he found it in '18)

If that holds true, then Pitts won’t be a buy for me until it continues year 2, and he finally falls well below hock. If he has to have 3 bad years for it happen he’s no longer a buy for me, so maybe timing just never works out
