What did you get for him?
Both 16 team leagues. League 1 I am competing and league 2 I am in a complete rebuild.

League 1 Gave
Diontae, ARob, Goedert

League 1 Got
Deebo, Claypool, Schultz

League 2 Gave
Gave Diontae, Singletary

League 2 Got
Jacobs, 2022 2nd
I don’t mind that 1st one at all, especially if Claypool gets more consistent moving forward and provided Deebo doesn’t regress too much after this year. Solid deal.

The 2nd one I don’t love, but if you had strong WRs and weak RBs and were a contender, I totally get it.
I agree, there is a risk that Deebo regresses next year with Ayuik starting to step forward, but he is one of my favorite players to watch play and as others have mentioned Diontae just acts soft.

With league two, that is a total rebuild and Jacobs probably won't be on my team too long, but if he is I'm ok with it as he is still somehow just 23 years old.

I've been seeing some Diontae momentum recently in terms of recognizing how good he is and then I come here and see Landry/Boyd comps. Diontae has been commanding an alpha level target share for two years now. Still criminally undervalued for his age/production - one of the best buys out there IMO.

Is 130+ targets and averaging wr12 over a five year span a disappointment? Cause that's what Landry did lol. Sure boyd is a bit lower at a mid wr2 type but God if that's disrespectful whatre the expectations on this guy

DJ is somewhere between a Boyd/Landry and an AB replacement.

The guy can flat out separate. Has to be top 5 WR on that aspect. So explosive. I'll make a hot take and say I think he's a better WR than DJM who everyone seems to drool over. Johnson just looks electric on a football field to the eye test. It's a shame Ben isn't closer to his prime.

Sure, and comparing him to AB makes a lot more sense than comparing him to players who are playing a position whose production is heavily influenced by scheme.

There is a reason that slot receivers do not garner the massive contracts that elite deep threats and boundary receiver do.

Scroll back. Someone else made the slot comparison. I just added onto it. The AB part.

Maybe it would be a hot take if you said 5X Better than DJM. He is already twice as good!

Keep devaluing players because of drops.

My only concern with him is the next QB, who may not fixate on him like Big Ben, who loves feeding players like him. But, even then, it's not a significant concern.

The prospect of his next QB being even remotely talented has me going the other way and wishing I had shares.

I just think the sky would be the limit if he had someone that could hit him downfield proper.

Now #5 in PPR. And Claypool continues to piss people off. Even with the uncertainty at QB…you have to love Diontae Johnson.
SF, PPR, 12 team, 12 player dynasty

QB- Lawrence, Fields, Tannehill (max 2 keepers, 3 rostered)
RB- Bijan Robinson, T Pollard, Allgeier, Charbonnet, Achane, J Wilson, Kelley, K Williams
WR- Lamb, Jeudy, Hill, C Olave, A Pierce, Shaheed, Bourne
TE- Goedert, Musgrave

Diontae looking to get paid.

Is he worth 5 years, 90 million dollars? I'd say so given the recent WR contracts but based on PIT's fanbase he might get it on another team.

This should give Claypool a speculative bump in value.
