That short-term IR has been quite the adjustment since going on IR can mean something very different now. I’m encouraged by how he walked to the sideline and to the tent without anyone on the broadcast noticing something was wrong. Hopefully whatever it is he can recover from in ~month

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all IR after cut downs are 3 weeks ... guys such as Etienne who were placed on IR pre-cut are down for year, but everyone else is just 3 weeks.

Hubbard dances too much behind the line and then doesn't have the burst once he decides where to go.

Yeahhh he's looked awful. At least he can catch? Had some hope that he would look good if/when CMC went down

Finally first play on drive starting with about 9 left in fourth he doesn't dance and just plunges ahead for 4.

Two plays later no dancing, he runs for 12.

How long was Ekeler out for last year? I am bracing for that with CMC. Being ruled OUT immediately is a really bad sign.

Don't think CMC's hammy is anywhere near Ekeler's. Think Ekeler's was grade 3, which is about as bad as it gets. That said, hammy injuries linger. This is why I avoided him in redraft.

Ekeler was out 6 games. But from memory, he was not walking after he did it... he left on the cart, I'm pretty sure.

Grade three - Ekeler tore the hamstring off the bone. It was as bad as it gets. So yeah - C-Mac walking to the locker room is overall a good sign for the severity.

Bad in that it's def. the kind of injury that lingers, though. Almost like the 30 touches a game that Buck and Aikman were gushing about at the start of TNF was actually, perhaps, mayyyybe... a bad thing...

Such a make-able throw. Clean pocket, open receiver. Good QB's make that throw. Darnold is OK, but you need to make throws like that.

I am fine with IR and almost 4 weeks of rest. Miss 3 games, get almost 4 weeks. I'd take that if he comes back 100 percent.

Why are you so quick to throw Darnold under the bus here? That was not by any means an easy throw to execute. He threw it to a place where only DJ Moore could get it. I'd rather him over throw it by a smidge than underthrow and risk a turnover. Stop being a hater....the man doesnt have a 68% completion percentage because he is a bad QB. Why dont you give him some credit....like when he stood in the pocket and delivered a dart while getting smashed in the face. Give him a break.

I said he was OK. Never said he was bad. You're out to lunch on this. I made a comment based on my opinion of the play. Has nothing to do with hate. If you don't don't like it, that's just too bad, but you're response is out of line. Not sure if you're the president of the Darnold fan club, or what, but you're taking this personally for some reason. The idea that someone else has a different view point to you is "hate", sorry man, but I am not interested in what you have to say, if this is what you bring to a discussion.
