This reminds me of Russell Gage last season. Had a couple of good games alongside Ridley and an aging Julio then sort of faded away after that.

Do you think Osborn can do better than Gage and actually become the WR2 if Thielen leaves?

Week I he had 81% snap share - the past 2 games 59% snap count.

Seattle has always been pretty TE friendly, which we saw with Conklin last week, so I think he'll likely continue (Osborn) to receive flex potential going forward into bye weeks and the 2 target game would be the aberration - based on the current volume.

He'll likely get somewhere in the 4-6 target a game range each week, provided Cousins continues this course. Whether that happens or not ... well Cousins down the stretch in 2020 averaged 40 PA a game, and is basically at that same pace so far.

He's looking really good again here in week 4. A fantastic sideline catch on third and long.

If you have the roster space, I'd add him.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

After week 1 his snap counts have remained relatively stable in the 58-65% range - just his targets are obviously more game dependent (ie 3rd read or playing from behind). Still pretty impressive that the Vikings offense is making 3 WR a TE and an RB (occasionally 2) fantasy relevant on a weekly or semi-weekly basis. Will be interesting to see how his role plays out longer term. For now though probably one of the better flex/WR4 holds?

I think this is one of the reasons why we have a love/hate relationship - because the KJ Osborn can end up being more productive than the Laviska Shenault, the Allen Robinson and/or the Robby Anderson.

He is a hold for me. Minnesota has been a team lately that doesn't seem to care about draft capital with their WRs. Theilan is UDFA, Diggs was a later pick(6th?) They clearly don't care about capital if someone performs. He may end up being a roster clogger but I think you have to hold for now unless someone is offering you a 2nd for him.

An interesting pattern I picked up on early with Osborn's production: all of his fantasy-worthy weeks have been road games.

Of 7 games so far, he's had 3 startable / good weeks (14.6, 20.1, and 19.8 PPR points) and 4 bad weeks (4.6, 6.6, 4.4, and 3.0 PPR points). All of his good games were on the road. All of his bad games were at home. Some of that is opportunity, as he's averaged 7.3 targets on the road (9, 6, 7) and only 4.0 targets at home games (2, 7, 4, 3).

I tested that theory recently & started him against panthers in week 6 (19.8 points), but sat him last week vs Cowboys (3.0 points). hmmm...

This week just happens to be a road game for the Vikings at Baltimore. Yup, I'm starting him. We'll see if the pattern holds. :)

Outside of Humphrey, Ravens are hurting in pass coverage. I was thinking Thielen or JJ may have a big game, but Osborn could also be a beneficiary

Well he didn't do great but only 2 target 1 reception of 20 yards.. which is still encouraging to see.

On a whim of desperation I played him over Kirk. Didn't work out, but didn't affect the outcome so I can be too upset about it. Was really hoping the away trend would hold up lol
