I based it off DLFs august adp data as that’s all I had available.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 11:05 amI did a startup over the summer and all those guys went before Deebo. (rookie draft was seperate)thebeast wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 5:55 amWhile I don’t disagree with your thoughts I do think Shanahan had something in mind when he draft Lance and then moved up for Sermon. Personally I faxed Sermon and Carter in all my drafts except for 1 (1 of 8) as I didn’t like the history for RBs drafted in that range. That being said I still think this is an excellent but low opportunity and I would only be looking to invest in Mitchell for the rest of this year if I were contending.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 3:25 pm
I don't think Sermon is fit for this offense at all. And I don't think Shanny redesigns the run game just because Lance is under center. I get buying low and have done that with literally every RB in this offense, except Sermon. I don't know why they even reached to draft him.
Now if Sermon were to swap teams, then maybe he'd be viable. Not saying he's complete trash. But I wouldn't spend more than a 3rd.
Also, where was Deebo a throw in? I remember Aiyuk out hyping him but I still thought Deebo held value and I don't think his situation is comparable to Sermons. We saw Deebo perform well, injury was really the only risk.
Re: Deebo, in august he was being drafted after Shenault, Fant, Terrace Marshall , Gaskin and Bateman. It may not be a throw in but he didn’t hold any more value than a rookie late first or early second flier and most people weren’t investing in him.

Aiyuk went in the 45 range of my startup, Deebo around 100/110.

Week 14 update
Mitchell - concussion protocol, Questionable
Wilson - knee flare up, Questionable
Sermon - IR
Mostert - IR
That leaves Hasty as the only healthy RB I believe

I’m not sure if Mitchell’s list of injuries this year is a testament to his toughness or a sign of trouble long-term.

Happens to basically every RB under Shanahan in San Francisco. They just can't find an RB who can stay on the field for a decent stretch.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 7:46 pm I’m not sure if Mitchell’s list of injuries this year is a testament to his toughness or a sign of trouble long-term.

Everyone’s trashed pro day times forever but for some reason his pro day 10 yard split time was considered godlyDynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 4:25 pmSermons fairy tale 10 yard split will never not be funny.
Re: Elijah Mitchell thread
Mitchell is really good averaging 4.6 YPC.
Partial List of RB's currently chasing Sermon's 4.1 YPC.
Collins 3.9
Gibson 3.9
Jacobs 3.9
Conner 3.8
Barkley 3.8
N. Harris 3.7
Kamara 3.6

Re: Elijah Mitchell thread
YPC isn't the greatest indicator of how good a RB is at times. Speaking as someone who is well versed in Raiders football, the OL is downright terrible. I'm amazed Jacobs YPC is even that high.

Never claimed it was the greatest indicator but it telling how many good backs are just not playing very good this year for a multitude of reasons. Players need a lot of volume with those numbers or they better be really good in the passing game.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 10:37 amYPC isn't the greatest indicator of how good a RB is at times. Is Mitchell a top 15 dynasty RB? That's the question I'm starting to wonder. He certainly will be in the convo from 12-18 for redraft RBs next year. Every time he's healthy he's an auto 20 carries and is even getting some receiving work. He's really good and if he wasn't a 6th round pick he'd be value much higher.

Re: Elijah Mitchell thread
While he could produce as a top 15 RB I doubt he will be valued as that given there are significant variables against him. This is a big time running team but with Lance next year, the do it all Deebo, plus plenty of quality backs I don't think he will be consistent enough to pay that price.Mike11 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 9:35 am Is Mitchell a top 15 dynasty RB? That said he is a great guy to roster as he does have upside. I wouldn't be quick to sell but would buy at a the right price. Looks like a WR3 value proposition to me given the situation.
