Traded a ‘22 3rd for Miles Sanders and a ‘23 3rd for Elijah Mitchell.

What kind of league is this? even a really rough season by sanders shouldn't tank his value that much lol. Either this is a very shallow league or you just fleeced the guy

IDP and super flex bump up the value of 3rds to be more like a 2nd. I did also include $10 FAAB for
sanders which carries value in this league due to contracts and free agency. Sanders is on a 3 year deal so I guess he just wanted out- he sent me the offer so wasn’t complaining especially since my other RB are all out haha

I don't love the boyd trade. He is underrated but I would have preferred to see you pay half or a third of that and gotten Marvin Jones, or Renfrow.

I think you're misreading - he sent Boyd and a late '22 1st for AB and an early-ish '23 2nd.

Ok, I still am not a fan. Going from a 1st round pick to a 2nd round pick, just to make a win-now upgrade from a middling WR3 to a guy who I think is likely to finish as a WR2... I don't love it. But not a huge stakes trade

Bolded was kind of where I landed on it. I saw it as moderately low risk, for a potential high reward. I actually gave him the choice of Boyd/Mims/ or Quez Watkins (he's an Eagles fan so figured it wasn't insulting to least give him that option), but figured he'd go with Boyd from the sheer value perspective. The other factors playing in that leaned me towards making that offer was that I also own Chase, so it was a bit easier to let go of Boyd who hasn't started higher than a flex for me this year anyhow; and as much as I admit I have no clue how it will actually shake out, for now I'm liking 2023 class much more than 2022, so in general I've been making a point to push my trades to move out of '22 and into '23. Also, since this off-season I was planning to sell '22 picks regardless for a Championship this year if the opportunity came up. Hard to make trades in this league, but felt like if I didn't do anything I'd have a hard time getting my team to the production the first place team is putting up (mainly on the backs of Henry/Kupp). Appreciate the feedback!
