WR: Kayshon Boutte, Jaxon Smith-Ngiba
I am assuming these guys were just in the same tier and you don't view Boutte as the better prospect?
I actually do but they're in the same tier

Wouldn't begrudge the reverse either. Boutte just fits a WR1 more with his after the catch ability

If JSN gets higher draft capital and Wilson/Olave come into the NFL and ball out as rookies then that changes things obviously
Agree with this, JSN obvs had that huge blowup game which has pushed him above for some people, I think thats a touch recency bias, but, he was already in that Tier with Boutte so I can't argue with people having him higher. I just like Bouttes game more, either way its going to be fun to watch these 2 fight out for the top stop this year, or if there is a late riser who can jump them both.

It rarely is
Bryce love and damien Harris come quickly to mind
Etienne didn't lose value but don't think he gained much either

When guys come back in most cases it’s because they graded poorly. Plus isn’t there something ridiculous like 40 RBs coming out? They may have learned he’d likely go very late.

You can most likely cross him off the list either way.

Pretty sure he was a top 5 running back by most accounts from just about everybody. Seems like an Etienne/Najee Harris type of move.

Some teams have been targeting 2023 picks asap. One of my leagues has a strong youth bias and value in trade discussions tends to tilt to WRs. Teams that have contended for years (or tried to) have declared their going rebuild, making picks even more expensive.

The flip side of that is productive players are getting crazy cheap for contenders. One league, Lockett was bought for 2 3rds.

Watching Sean Tucker, he reminds me so much of Ekeler.

Wait til next year when the household names at RBs turn 27/28. The Zeke's, Aaron Jones, etc could probably be had for a potato young RB + 23' 2nd. Next year could be a great year to contend at a discount.

2 people have 8 combined 23 firsts already in my league. I have 3 of them a leaguemate has 5. My question is this, is hoarding 2023 picks going like this in your leagues as well? I have no intention of trading mine since the value is only going to skyrocket but at times i do wonder if there is too much hype for this 23 class and that ill turn down solid offers in the future if i dont figure this out now. I just want to see how other leagues are with these 23 firsts.

For me personally, I’m all in on the 23’ class. It genuinely looks historically good to me in this early juncture. I’ve gathered 7 out of the 10 firsts in my league and I plan on making all of those picks as I’m in a full rebuild. If I were to trade any, it would be next year when I’m OTC.

I have 3 1sts and a couple owners have multiple 2nds. I'm thinking of trying to trade my '22 picks (1.04, 1.11, 2.04) during our rookie draft to stockpile more, but that's a tough sell at this point.

I might be biased as I'm trying to do the same thing as you. You could always trade them down the line as the hype grows.

WR - Jefferson, Nacua, Moore, Pickens, London, Downs, Kirk, W. Robinson, M. Wilson
TE - McBride, Woods

'24 Picks

2.03, 2.05
3.05, 3.09

Could it get more hyped up than it is now? Or is it at its peak now?
I'm too ashamed of any of my teams to post.

I'd think it is peak sell now only because the expectation is that all the top ranked players stay healthy and declare. If one of these two factors change for player(s), it can only negatively impact the value.

People always amp up right before draft time too tho.

I understand this point but peak sell now is always around this time every year. Ya some players will get hurt and not declare but other players will breakout and work themselves into first round conversation like Javonte williams and Kenneth Walker the last few years

I'm late to this post but I was in on Bijan and Gibbs last off season and took both in my Devy league. Bijan was known but Gibbs wasn't as heralded. This year he is going to explode with Bama. Looks like Kamara receiving but is a strong inside runner as well.

I'm planting my flag. Or rather I did in May last year.
