I bought him this off season to try and round out my RBS, disappointing to say the least. That said I am confused as to why he is not rested or given time to heal. Also as a Terry owner, the whole WFT is pissing me off!

While I don't disagree completely, pretty safe to say Patterson is being given more of an opportunity due to Gibson's lingering shin injury, not necessarily due to his ability as a rusher.

The Gibson injury has been known to the coaching staff since earlier this year, and Patterson wasn't in to spell him until this week. That is significant because he was officially removed from the injury report two days ago. He practiced in full last week for the first time in several weeks, and is on record as saying his shin injury is behind him.

Which shocks the heck out of me because I thought he had a chipped bone that needed several months to heal.

I just did last week. I was never going to buy at the hyped prices of offseason (top 5 RB or so), but his owner wanted out.

Im out, i sold him for a haul and cashed out. I got him at pick 2.10 in 2020 and was very happy with that but then this ridiculous hype train ran through the offseason and i just hated it. I knew the guy was screwed unless he finished as a top 8 RB. I think i learned a lesson here, if the hype gets too high for your tastes on a guy then sell him for a haul and get out then. Probably could have sold him for a top 4 2021 pick and gotten Pitts Najee or Chase.

Fat lady isn’t singing yet but, backend RB2 is looking like the result? Sitting at 22 with just as much chance of passing current 18-20 as getting passed by current 23-24.

Has been getting tons of touches the last couple weeks, and looks like an easy-ish slate for ROS, but I don’t think his spot changes too much anymore. Patterson maybe gets more involved too now? Also MFL is projected 0.00 this week at the time of this post, so that’s fun.

Definitely gonna just hold on to him in the one league I have him (sig) as RBs are impossible to get right now and even a backend RB2 is likely what I have to ride into the playoffs.

I could see Gibson making a move up the ranks as long as he's on the field. Derrick Henry is on IR, for example. Gibson should pass him eventually. Then again, guys like CMC and Hunt are healthy again and just behind him.

Also FYI, this wager was made on 0.5 PPR leagues, so he's actually sitting 17th at the moment. Plenty of football left to play.

Agreed.
Barring a Gibson injury, it's almost a certainty that he moves up. How far is the question, and I have no idea if he moves into the top 14. With WFT's schedule of questionable DEFs coming along, I think Gibson has a favorable chance to pass 3-4 guys, and a reachable chance to pass 2 others. Of course he could also slide, but where's the fun in predicting that?

I roster him in 3 leagues, but I still have my doubts about some bell cow type roll. McKissic probably only misses 1 week. Looked like a possible concussion, or maybe just precautionary because it was his neck area. Raiders have been bad vs the run this year, so maybe a good week next week. I need him to step up with CMC going down in one league I have both in.
